Publisher's summary

About three things I was certain.

First, Edward was a vampire.

Second, there was a part of him, and I didn't know how dominant that part might be, that thirsted for my blood.

And Third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him.

Isabella Swan's move to Forks, a small, perpetually rainy town in Washington, could have been the most boring move she ever made. But once she meets the mysterious and alluring Edward Cullen, Isabella's life takes a thrilling and terrifying turn. Up until now, Edward has managed to keep his vampire identity a secret in the small community he lives in, but now nobody is safe, especially Isabella, the person Edward holds most dear. The lovers find themselves balanced precariously on the point of a knife, between desire and danger.

Deeply sensuous and extraordinarily suspenseful, Twilight captures the struggle between defying our instincts and satisfying our desires. This is a love story with bite.

Average Voice Actress telling a phenomenal story

I absolutely love the beginning to this saga. The story of love and sci-fy intermingled is so compelling. Was already a great read and now it's a darn good listen.

Twilight Fan

I've read the Twilight series many times. This was my first experience with the Audible version. Love the story, narration was okay. At times she lacks inflection and doesn't pause at appropriate moments, which can take you out of the story.

Nostalgic

Takes me back to high school. Enjoyable listen. Not a fan of the narrator what so ever.

Twilight is Better to Listen To.

I started twilight right smack during the craze, with this audiobook. And I fell in love with Bella. She was strong and sarcastic and kind of funny.

Then I tried to read the actual book. Bella came off as weak and whiney. In the movie, she fit the part of awkward, but that was it. What did the audiobook have that the original source material didn't?

It had Ilyana Kadushin narrating the story.
This is a rare case, where the performance of the narrator distractedly improves the book. If you are looking for a more positive portrayal of Bella and engaging story, I would listen to all of these audiobooks.

Love the story

yes, I'm one of those Twilight people. I've taken to audio books because I have less and less time to sit and read. I like to call Twilight my "brain candy" so, I've actually read the story before. the performance was good not great. I felt that the reader seemed far to old to be reading a story about teenagers. other than that... hey it got me where I wanted to be. Twilight fix and laundry folded all in the same amount of time.

Keep listening it

Since, I knew about midnight sun. I started to re listen to this book. Honestly I still love it and now that I’m older I feel like I understand the jokes and the conversation so much more then when I was 10.

Twilight Saga

Where can I begin! If it weren’t for my sister I wouldn’t have watched all of the films. And now that I’ve joined audible this is my second book I’ve purchased and definitely plan on purchasing the rest! It makes you really envision the entire story and understand it more. I wanted to keep hearing more and more. Sometimes movies don’t give the story the credit it deserves !
The narrator really stepped up on Bella and Edward the romance was there.
