Publisher's summary

About three things I was certain.

First, Edward was a vampire.

Second, there was a part of him, and I didn't know how dominant that part might be, that thirsted for my blood.

And Third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him.

Isabella Swan's move to Forks, a small, perpetually rainy town in Washington, could have been the most boring move she ever made. But once she meets the mysterious and alluring Edward Cullen, Isabella's life takes a thrilling and terrifying turn. Up until now, Edward has managed to keep his vampire identity a secret in the small community he lives in, but now nobody is safe, especially Isabella, the person Edward holds most dear. The lovers find themselves balanced precariously on the point of a knife, between desire and danger.

Deeply sensuous and extraordinarily suspenseful, Twilight captures the struggle between defying our instincts and satisfying our desires. This is a love story with bite.

Vampires are cool!

I listened to this book, not realizing it was a 'young adult' fiction and loved it. I gave it to my daughter to read and she's hooked. Its great to have a series of books that we can both read and discuss together.

Twilight Fan here!

What made the experience of listening to Twilight the most enjoyable?

I am a Twilight fan to begin with. I have read the books quite a few times, and watched the movie multiple times. This is my first audio book, and I have to say, as critical as I am when it comes to Twilight, I thought the performance was excellent. I have no complaints with this audio book at all.

Have you listened to any of Ilyana Kadushin’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I thought she did a wonderful job with Twilight. If she has read any other books that I might order, I would not hesitate to order.

Loved it!

I am 42 and still found the story very enjoyable. I didn't want to stop listening. Sure, I would have prefered that things got a little more... adult. However, I enjoyed it so much that I am moving on to the second book in the saga and happily anticipting Bella's story to continue to unfold. Oh! I am not sure why one reviewer found the narrators voice unpleasant. I happened to LOVE the narrators voice.

Addictive

A true love story for all ages that speaks to pain and the perils of love. Though written for teens it appeal to all ages, my 9 year son turned me onto this series and I can genuinely say that it's the best read to date. Highly recommended. One warning though, once you start this series you won't be able stop till the final chapter of book four is completed... it really is that addictive!

Brilliant

I loved this book, as it truly transends the "teen" genre, and the audio was brilliant. Iliana Kudushin was a wonderful narrator, giving a richness to the characters that was just as fufilling as the reading the book itself. Excellent.
