Publisher's summary

There was something wicked about Beau that drew me to him. What was wrong with me? Why did I want to sin so badly?

Ashton is getting tired of being good, of impressing her parents and playing ideal girlfriend to Sawyer Vincent. Sawyer is perfect, a regular Prince Charming, but when he leaves town for the summer, it’s his cousin Beau who catches Ashton’s eye. Beau is the sexiest guy she’s ever seen, and even though he’s dangerous, Ashton is drawn to him.

Beau loves his cousin like a brother, so the last thing he wants to do is make a move on Sawyer’s girl. Ashton is off-limits, absolutely. That’s why he does his best to keep his distance, even though he’s been in love with her forever. When Ashton wants to rekindle their childhood friendship in Sawyer’s absence, Beau knows he should say no.

Ashton and Beau don’t want to hurt Sawyer. But the more they try to stay away from each other, the more intense their urges become. It’s getting way too hard to resist....

A little too young for me.

If you could sum up The Vincent Boys: Extended and Uncut in three words, what would they be?

Story is sweet and well written but too young (16-17 year olds). If this was set with even college age it wouldn't seem so off. I think for the depth of the feelings for these characters it didn't match their age.

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

Not a surprise. Slow, sweet ending just like the start.

What does Kirby Heyborne and Shayna Thibodeaux bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I really enjoyed the differences in the voices. However, again they sounded way to old for the age of the characters.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

No laughs or cries just as "awe isn't that sweet" feeling.

Very Enjoyable

What did you love best about The Vincent Boys: Extended and Uncut?

I loved the flashbacks of Ash, Bo, and Sawyer's childhoods and the development of their relationships.

Who was your favorite character and why?

My favorite character was Bo. I just love a bad boy!

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

The female narration was too slow and she really sounded as if she was bored. I really enjoyed the male narration, particularly his accent.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I certainly could not stop listening and wanted to listen to it all in one sitting. Unfortunately I couldn't.

Any additional comments?

Good story!

A Timeless Plot With Startling Passion

I couldn't begin to count the number of stories that involve a preacher's daughter and the "town bad-boy"- I'm glad that the cliché didn't make me ignore this book.

As usual with a story where cheating occurs, anyone especially bothering by infidelity may not want to read this book. Since I've never encountered it in my own life, I haven't formed any of the painful memories that might make it difficult for others to read this book.

The shining light in this story was the passion these characters displayed- It was refreshing and addicting, and definitely not for the faint of heart. I liked how free these teens were (except that their freedom allowed unfaithfulness), and I felt this this author has a lot of potential. I hope that she avoids cliché phrases in the future, but otherwise I found this book to be highly entertaining and I look forward to reading the next book in the series.

Bo and Ash - Half and Half

Perhaps too steamy for some teens, but great entertainment for those more mature. The narration by Kirby Heyborne captures the essence of Bo. Shayna Thibodeaux is also very convincing as Ash.

A successful novel makes the reader want more, and by presenting characters larger than life, Abbi Glines succeeds beautifully. Would love to see more of her work.

Voice didn't match

I was not a fan of the male narrator. The book describes Beau as having a deep voice and the narrator did not match the books description of the character.

teen age drama

I neglected to realize this was a young adult book. that said, that's a lot of sex for a teen to read.

Good

It’s a good book. I just wish there was more to their story line. I know there is another book, but it’s not about beau and ash.

Loved the story.; Not the male narrator

Well developed characters and well written story with the right amount of angst. Male narrator’s female voices were cringe worthy.

Boring and overly submissive/dramatic

All the characters seem to have the same voice but with different names. No one stuck out. the female characters was to weak and submissive for my taste. The first part of the book was hot, but then it got extremely boring.

Love it

One of my favorite books. Had to buy the audible version as well since I have an ebook version.
