Publisher's summary

Book two in the blockbuster Maze Runner series that spawned a movie franchise and ushered in a worldwide phenomenon! And don't miss The Fever Code, the highly-anticipated series conclusion that finally reveals the story of how the maze was built!

Thomas was sure that escape from the Maze would mean freedom for him and the Gladers. But WICKED isn't done yet. Phase Two has just begun. The Scorch.
The Gladers have two weeks to cross through the Scorch—the most burned-out section of the world. And WICKED has made sure to adjust the variables and stack the odds against them.
There are others now. Their survival depends on the Gladers' destruction—and they're determined to survive.
Friendships will be tested. Loyalties will be broken. All bets are off.

The Maze Runner and Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials are now major motion pictures featuring the star of MTV's Teen Wolf, Dylan O'Brien; Kaya Scodelario; Aml Ameen; Will Poulter; and Thomas Brodie-Sangster. The third movie, Maze Runner: The Death Cure, will hit screens in 2018.

Better than the Movie!

This book is nothing like the movie. The plots and stories are almost entirely different, but this version is so much better,. You won’t regret listening to it.

Good

Glad I read the book. The movie isn't even close to the same story line, don't watch the movie.

Good action Nice story line

The simple boy girl interaction was weak. The hero is fighting alone too many times when the others are in the same seen.

Good

It was a good story but not nearly on the same level as the maze runner.

Intriguing and unique

Loved this book. Great story. Narrators voice almost sounded too 'mature' for 16-17 year old kids, but the distinction between characters was great and easy to follow. Great reading once you got used to the voice.

>:(

i am very mad now just having finished it this is deeply upsetting and also very different to the movie. The worst part is how Thomas is separated from his friends like half the book, and the love triangle is also kinda annoying because I don't really care
