Publisher's summary

Book one in the blockbuster Maze Runner series that spawned a movie franchise and ushered in a worldwide phenomenon! And don’t miss The Fever Code, the highly-anticipated series conclusion that finally reveals the story of how the maze was built! When Thomas wakes up in the lift, the only thing he can remember is his name. He’s surrounded by strangers - boys whose memories are also gone.

Outside the towering stone walls that surround them is a limitless, ever-changing maze. It’s the only way out - and no one’s ever made it through alive. Then a girl arrives. The first girl ever. And the message she delivers is terrifying: Remember. Survive. Run.

The Maze Runner and Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials, and Maze Runner: The Death Cure all are now major motion pictures featuring the star of MTV's Teen Wolf, Dylan O’Brien; Kaya Scodelario; Aml Ameen; Will Poulter; and Thomas Brodie-Sangster.

The Narrator is Fantastic.

I remember reading these book a few years ago, and never finishing the series. During the troubling times we've been having this last year, I picked up the whole series once again. Beginning to end the narrator was impressive. From the consistent variation of the characters voices and accents, to the pure emotion portrayed throughout. There were many times throughout the entire book, that I swear Mark was on the verge of Laughing hysterically or breaking down into sobs. Especially in "That scene" at the end, I could hear his voice crack. The story is alright, It screams Lord of the flies and hunger games clone. But the concept makes up for it. I can't really give an actual review without spoiling key parts of the story. Overall Its worth the listen, especially since its so short at a whopping 8-12 hours depending on your play speed.

Great

Only wish a woman could’ve read females parts instead of a man. Other than that it was awesome.

Amazing Story, Wonderful Voice Acting

The Maze Runner and it's narrator captivated me from the very first chapter. The story is full of mystery, suspense, and action. The characters are so richly detailed and the narrator brings the characters to life in a way rarely heard.

narrator didn't do bad

the narrator did pretty good but at times I'd lose the story line in his voice during long descriptive periods, he also said Minho's name weird half the time - almost putting too much emphasis on the second Syllable - "Mean-HOOO".. just little pet peeve - nothing that messed up the enjoyment of listening.
