An excellent book of undead delight

I recently finished listening to the Graveyard Book. A small family is murdered swiftly by an intruder, but while he tends to his grisly work the baby wonders away and into a nearby graveyard. The shades of his recently deceased parents beg the ghosts of the graveyard for protection for this babe even as the assassin stalks the child. He is given the protection of the graveyard, learns to live a living shade, and has adventures where he finds the living are often more twisted than the dead. The full cast really brings this production to life. It is an excellent audiobook.

Not to be missed. Full cast is incredible.

There is no doubt that this book by itself is genius. Charming. Engaging. Occasionally dark.

However the full cast production adds a layer of enjoyment and captivation. Really not to be missed. As Tim Ferris said, the one audio book that when you complete, you want to relisten.

A true classic and a delight to listen to!

This is a wonderful new version of one of my all time favorites. It is a sumptuous treat to hear such a talented cast bring this dark, whimsical, and beautiful book to life... or death, as it were.

A young reader's story that adults will enjoy too

I downloaded this book on advice of a friend and after listening to several recent heavy books of biographies. The story was enchanting and you were drawn into the characters and personalities as if they were actually living breathing souls. The narration and full cast voices were excellent and the music haunting. A great enjoyable light read that still leaves you changed and hopeful.

I'm not one to leave 5 stars...don't think I ever have once on here or on Netflix. This book gets 5 stars across the board. I will listen to it again.

So entertaining

The book reminded me of the Harry Potter series. So engrossing, and fun, and filled with fantasy. I was so sad to finish it!
