Publisher's summary

Don't miss book three in the #1 New York Times best-selling Maze Runner series, soon to be a major motion picture starring Dylan O'Brien!

WICKED has taken everything from Thomas: his life, his memories, and now his only friends — the Gladers. But it's finally over. The trials are complete, after one final test.

What WICKED doesn't know is that Thomas remembers far more than they think. And it's enough to prove that he can't believe a word of what they say.

Thomas beat the Maze. He survived the Scorch. He'll risk anything to save his friends. But the truth might be what ends it all.

The time for lies is over.

The first two books, The Maze Runner and The Scorch Trials, are also #1 worldwide blockbuster movies featuring the star of MTV's Teen Wolf, Dylan O'Brien; Kaya Scodelario; Aml Ameen; Will Poulter; and Thomas Brodie-Sangster!

Also look for The Fever Code, the much-buzzed-about series conclusion that finally reveals the story of how the maze was built, and James Dashner's other best-selling series, the Mortality Doctrine: The Eye of Minds, The Rule of Thoughts, and The Game of Lives.

Praise for James Dashner and the Maze Runner series:

Wow!What an exciting series every step of the way!

Would you consider the audio edition of The Death Cure to be better than the print version?

I have not read it in print but I enjoyed listening to it! I would rather listen to this while I do other things like cook, household chores, driving etc. This was my first series to listen to and I absolutely loved it! I was addicted once I started I just had to buy the other books and listen to them as soon as I can! Gosh it was such a well written story with a great ending and an exciting plot that is ever twisting!

Who was your favorite character and why?

I liked Brenda! I liked how strong she was throughout t he series, and her connection with Thomas. I started hating Teresa just like Thomas did and didn't think she deserved to be with him anyways even though she did everything FOR him. I'm bias because I was inside Thomas's mind and agreed with his thoughts majority of the time. (Except when he was watching the guy on the bliss I was like seriously you idiot?! RUN!) haha

Which scene was your favorite?

SPOILER: I thought it was crazy with all the scenes with the cranks. I felt like it was zombies and I could visualize it so well! I am not even a zombie fan but that was pretty interesting how they basically turned into zombies but I was still so interested to find out what was going to happen next. AND when you realize that the rat man has the flare. AND when you find out Galley is still alive and the unfolding of how that was possible. AND when Thomas decides to not get his memories back, I was always curious!!! AND when Thomas was controlled! That was actually really crazy. I was really into that scene.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

SPOILER: I was saddened when Newt was so mean to Thomas and then realized once he read the letter what it meant. I was so sad at that and felt bad for Newt for feeling the need to write it out so early on after catching the flare.

Any additional comments?

I basically stopped my life to listen to these books. haha I was so invested I listened through them so fast! The narrator was so great with all his accents. I would definitely listen to another book read by him. It was such a gripping series and I cant believe how they kept you going through every book. I was never annoyed, never thought it was slow and never thought it was stupid. I seriously loved the way it was written with the newly inserted language, the idea, the story line and plot, and the performance was fabulous. I give it an A++++!

I wish they would have stuck closer to the book when making the movies.

what a ride

Narration was awesome, just like the other 2 books. the story finished strong, I was definitely sad with the death of 1 of my favorite 2 characters. But overall for a dystopian YA, I enjoyed it.

you gotta know what happens next

When things can't get worse, they do. The suspense keeps you reading when you should have stopped an hour ago. Really well read. The characters come to life.

Sad to see the best book series I ever read ending

This book doesn't need a review to tell you that you should read it, if you've read Maze Runner and Scorch Trials you don't want to stop, all I can say is feel free to expect the same awesome performance from Mark Deakins and the same familiar writing of Dashner, weather it's an awesome ending or disappointing anti-climax that's for you to decide...

Btw, there's a prequel coming...=D
