I'm a mom. I have drama in my life. I don't want books with the F-bomb, nor graphic violence. I read for fun and to bring my family together. I read for reducing stress levels. We have never had a television in our home and our children are now mid twenties to 19. We listen together and look for belly-wrenching laughter. So what is it like to live without a TV? Awesomely educational and inspirational. Each new book is a marvel.
We have really enjoyed this series. Sabrina is really a torn soul and her sister, Daphne, is a family joy. Punk is absolutely GRAVY and we have laughed out loud more than once.
We are somewhat sad to see this series go, the cliff hangers were really getting to us because we were ready before the book was released. Now that all the books are complete and ready to listen (in order) we think any family time can certainly be improved by listening to an audio book together.
If you don't mind staying in the Young Adult section, may we suggest Bras and Broomsticks? If you have a need to go on to the adult section, may we suggest David Rosenfelt's Andy Carpenter series? Our entertainment side goes for funny. Both side routes will have you laughing!
The sisters Grimm thought they were abandoned, maybe even orphaned... little did they know!
This is a series for the whole family. The second grader, the fifth grader, and the mom were all chomping at the bit for this 9th book in the series... we were not disappointed!
I liked how the author finished up this series. LJ Ganser performed this very well. And once again...Puck was my favorite!
YES!!! I like every book out of series but this was my favorite!!!! I like how the story ended!
I really liked how the author is focused and stays on track but still adds some humor.
He really brings the book to life, just by the voices you can tell the character attitude.
yes!!! at the end I was so happy I couldn't stop crying!
