It's all fun and games...until someone's heart is broken.
They're not kids anymore, but Milo Caro is certain that Colton Mathews will only see her as his best friend's little sister for the rest of their lives. After all, he made that clear the night before she left for college. But four years later, her brother is getting married and Colt's the best man - and guess who is the best man's last-minute date?
Milo vows to use the wedding to either claim the smoldering firefighter's heart or douse this torch for good. When Max - her best friend from college, who may be carrying a torch of his own - crashes the party, they devise a plan to make Colt see what he's missing. But after Colt catches on, he decides to cook up his own revenge.
Now it's personal. Colt and Milo are at war, and between Max's questionable acting methods, an unfortunate trip to jail, and a maniacal fiancée, what could possibly go right?

Did not like it at all! The characters acted like they were still 5. I tried to finish it but could do it!
over the way the people in the story interact. the way max just throws things out there in a conversation to try and help out. later he explains to his friend acting camp. it has lots of crazy situations, you want to keep listening to find out how it all works out.
This has to be the most romantic and funny story that I have listened to so far. It's brilliant! Max is amazing. The entire cast was just incredible. This is the first time that I have listened to s story by this author, however it will not be the last. She is a very talent writer. I have already purchased the rest of this series and put the rest of her books in my wish list.
The narration was incredible. Nick Podehl is so talented. I looked up a the books he narrates and stored them on my wish list as well. Amy McFadden continues to amaze me with her ability to switch roles seamlessly.
I highly recommend this story and if I can give is 10 stars, I would.
The people on the streets/freeways must of thought I'd gone crazy if they looked at me. I've never enjoyed commuting to/from work or laughed so much out loud from a audio book before. I imagine humor is hard to write, but this author did an amazing job (or at least to my taste and humor), I'm so glad I discovered her. MAX is all I have to say, his character is the best and his humor is carried throughout the series. THANK GOD! I thoroughly enjoyed this book and this entire series, I'm hoping the author will continue and write Jason's story too!
Max. Reid and the Grandma! I almost want to go smell BenGay just to get the experience. haha!
Both narrators did a excellent job, it didn't really bother me that they went from male to female chapter to chapter with each doing voices for either male or female characters with in the chapter. They definitely capture your attention and immerse you in the story seamlessly.
I feel the same about all three of the books in this series to date. Although I'm only posting a review once.
"Amazing audio book narrators"
Great story, fantastic narration. its my go to audio book when I want something light, funny and happy.
One of my favourite books EVER. Love the fact that it is performed by a male & a female rather than one person struggling to do two voices. A truly LOL plot that is fast & creditable. My only moan is that towards the end Max gets a bit annoying. A sweet story of two childhood best friends finally have the courage to take the next step.
