How twilight should have ended

What made the experience of listening to The Clockwork Princess the most enjoyable?

I love the way all the characters in the book were strong minded and truly noble with no pretenses most stories make the characters silly and act unrealistically to the point were you don't believe in the story or the people in it causing their personalities to get lost, these characters stayed true to who they were and never faltered.they all were truly good and you gotta love a story that can pull that off!

What did you like best about this story?

There were allot of things that Truly surprised me throughout this book whereas most books tend to become a bit predictable this one had me shocked so many times it was laughable you feel the characters pain strife and indecision along with them, plus the ended was just beautifully amazing! I dare say perfect.

Have you listened to any of Daniel Sharman’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have not but I do enjoy he's accent and even for the regular character's I preferred he's interpretation over the others and of course no one pulled off Williams's better than him, nailed it!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes and no when enjoying a good book you want so badly to know what happens next but also there's the fact of knowing your close to it ending so at time's you try to draw it out a bit, it's the best kind of frustrating lol

Any additional comments?

I read the mortal instruments before this and that made me hesitant to read these in my opinion I feel like these two series were written by two different people while similar in some ways it's completely different and better for it, the characters didn't go off and do dangerous things with no regards to the adults in their life and I love that Tessa wasn't a weak female character like most are she made logical decisions that didn't make me annoyed even for her lack of knowledge about the world she was thrust into she did her homework, I usually get annoyed at the girls caught in the middle of love triangles but I believe she did what was right and still stayed true to herself.I love the way she handle Will! she was her own person and didn't act like life was ending over every short coming.

Beautiful, Romantic

What made the experience of listening to The Clockwork Princess the most enjoyable?

The narrator was great. For the first time I felt all the voices were right, especially Will's. C.Clare's obvious love of words and poetry come out more in this book than the others I think.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I must admit Will is my favorite. How could you not love him?

Which character – as performed by Daniel Sharman – was your favorite?

He got Will and Cecily's Welch voices just right.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Both.

Any additional comments?

I do not want to give anything away, but I was a bit scared to listen to this last one for fear of what C. Clare would do with theres characters - I need not have been worried. I thought this was the most romantic of the 3, which I personally loved......but I did wonder what happened to Bridgette??

Wonderful conclusion and amazing narration

Daniel sharman did a fantastic job! He brought each character to life. I would listen to him again. I was nervous for this book because often times the conclusion to a trilogy can be disappointing but not this one. It was so well written. It was intense and lovely and full of every emotion. A wonderful conclusion to a great trilogy!!

This book elicits so much feeling

Cassandra Clare is one of those rare authors who knows how to end a book well and with the gift of satisfaction. I will truly miss each and every one of these characters.

Fantastic story and end to the series!

Fantastic book! Great story and really put the pieces together for the rest of the mortal instruments books. It gives the timeline of what happened. The romance was enjoyable. And meeting a young Magnus Bane was enjoyable. Loved this book and this series - the infernal devices. And the narrator was much better than previous books, thank you.

Love the Infernal Devices!

Clockwork Princess is probably my favorite out of the Infernal Devices 3 book series. I love how everything unfolds and the ending is bittersweet perfection, in my opinion. I bought the books about a year ago and couldn't put them down until I finished the series. I was pleasantly surprised to find them on audible. I am happy with all the narration in these books. However, Clockwork Prince is my favorite narrated one. It's also so great to hear Will's letter to Tessa aloud. Great production all around! I'm glad I gave it a listen.

Wow! What a GREAT story!

I actually cried at the end. Bawled my eyes out in the kitchen as I finished this. This book was absolutely amazing. lots of things happened that were unexpected and OH SO satisfying!! The Infernal Devices will be recommended to all. I am forcing my friends to read/ listen as well. Cassandra Clare has taught me so much about writing. I get so many ideas on subplots, and how to sneak little details in, that I hadn't thought of until seeing how she uses them. I only wish Tessa was active in The Mortal Instruments. I don't recall if she was mentioned, but I feel like she was...

Anyways, this book had so many things going on. I absolutely adored the trek across the country. That showed Will's determination and sheer willpower, among other things. I loved that feeling of, "will they find each other?" Tessa is a lucky dog. But she endured so much. And I don't wanna spoil... but THE major thing that happened with Mortmain? Daaaaamn! Blown away 150% Thought had never crossed my mind until it happened. Amazing, and satisfying.
I loved getting to know the Herrondale's more. And loving Jace, I can see it, and love it. There's only ever one for them. Forever.

I LOVED the deeper parabatai connection showcased in this series opposed to Jace and Alec. And I wish there had been more weaved throughout. I have not read City of aheavenly Fire yet. I will be keeping an eye out for anything to stand out.

SO glad to see who Will was to Magnus as Alec refused to get over. But it did make Alec look even more stupid. But they will always be together.

I'm not sure I would say Infernal Devices is better than the Mortal Instruments like so many others say, but it is on it's own, an amazing read!

Beautiful way to end the series

Daniel Sharman is an amazing narrator.
I knew how the story would end but still cried. Loved it. This was my favorite out of all TDI books.
