Must listen, amazing job
the book is one of my favorites and I had a few good laughs, often in the middle of stories making me get some looks. The narrator did a great job, and I thought it was weirdly cool how she made different voices for each person. although the boys - especially Derek - sounded a bit like they had one too many joints. She did a great job at pacing and telling.

AWESOME STORY
What made the experience of listening to The Awakening the most enjoyable?
I am a huge Kelley Armstrong fan! She is an amazing author and thsi entire series was a joy to read. I love Chole she is a very strong young woman and she knows that her life is not going to be easy but she still fights to survive.
What other book might you compare The Awakening to and why?
I love any paranormal books and Kelley Armstrong fits that bill with all her books.
Which scene was your favorite?
When Derek changes into a warewolf the first time, Chole feels an attraction to him. She understands he two natures and wants to be there for him.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

A good book
Is there anything you would change about this book?
I think I would make the characters more mature. Their maturity seemed more like that of 12 or 13 year olds. At the same time I love how the story unfolded.
Was The Awakening worth the listening time?
Oh yes - absolutely!
Any additional comments?
This was a good book. It was a story about teens running away from their captors (scientists who experimented on them) and trying desperately to find an adult who can help them. The experience takes them each into dark moments where they must face their worst fears, their worst traits, the most negative worries and good moments where they allow their bravery to shine.
