Great Conclusion

Of all the books, it was interesting to listen to other "books" in one. My only advice is, if you're short on time or not listening in the background, the climbing section can be skipped. other than that, a lot of tied ends.

This book!

This is why you read the series! You get hooked with The Giver. You read Gathering Blue and Messenger. This book is why you read the series!! I loved it!

Good story bad ending

This story ties all the books together. It is a good story, but it (like most of her books) leaves me wanting more.

Perfection

There is little else to say. Lois Lowery delivers, and there narrator captures every nuance of character beautifully. A joy to listen to...again!

Interesting Conclusion

I have always loved The Giver. I still read it to my children every couple of months or so because of the timelessness of the book, but every single time I read it, I always found myself wondering what could have happened to the baby, Gabe? The idea of not having an ending bothered me.
This book was such a fantastic ending to the story of The Giver, Jonas, and the strong baby, Gabe, but also to Gabe’s mother. The story is beautifully written in the way only Lois Lowry could, and now, after all these years, I can finally say I no longer wonder about my very favorite book with my very favorite characters.

Very Sweet

Great ending to the Giver Quartet. A wonderful story about the love of a mother and the power of good over evil.

The End, Lots of Question Remain..

This book concludes the Giver series, I feel like it ends with more questions then answers, But it’s been an enjoyable ride …

Amazing conclusion to an amazing series

The Giver, Gathering Blue, Messenger, and Son
Have created a lesson of individuality and honor that is in high need in society today. Lois Lowry has created masterpieces that have taught great and valuable lessons.

This book is phenomenal!!

I was blown away by how in depth this book went. it answered so many questions that I've had for years! although it ended ubruptly I couldn't have left it better.

The final book of the Giver Quartet

I love Lois Lowry. Her books are engaging and thought provoking. Son is the final book in a quartet. The first book,The Giver, is by far the best and will have you hooked. Read them all in order. You won't be disappointed.
