Since ancient times, the great demon prison Zzyzx has protected the world from the most dangerous servants of darkness, including Gorgrog, the Demon King. To this end, Kendra, Seth, and the Knights of the Dawn will venture far beyond the walls of Fablehaven to strange and exotic magical preserves across the globe, where the end of every quest becomes the beginning of another. In this explosive series finale, allegiances will be confirmed and secrets revealed as the forces of light and darkness collide in a desperate struggle to control the keys to the demon prison.

I was a 'readaholic' for most of my life. I started crochet and other hobbies. That took away from my reading time. I discovered audio books at the library. That set me off. now, that I am older my eyes make it too difficult to read. So I now am a very diligent audio book listener!
I would will recommend this series to anyone. Book 4 was not as good as the first 3. Book 5 is not as good as book 4. It is a little long. I expected the Sphinx to be as main character. But he is just briefly involved. It brings up things and people without proper preparation in any of the other books. The Eternals are an excellent example. The first books stress the keys that keep the demon prison closed. Then suddenly there are the Eternals. These characters are as important as the keys. I could not figure out their exact purpose. The previous books showed Kendra and Seth growing and working to overcome obstacles. In this book little was done to continue this. Their parents and grandparents are prisoners. Minimal is said on how the two cope with this. As teenagers this should have been in their thoughts.
Given some preparation in the previous books about the Eternals. Why they were needed to form the demon prison. Why their deaths were necessary for the demon prison to be opened. I didn't like the hype about the Sphinx then his minimal inclusion in this last book.
I enjoyed most of the scenes with Seth and his satyr friends.
I am not sure if this book series would make a good movie or television series. I do think that this would make an excellent anime series. That way the different variety of fairies and other creatures could get the best portrayals.
I enjoyed the series. Even with a little disappointment with this last book.
Wish it didn't end here!!! Absolutely loved the amazing world you built! I constantly tell my kids to drink the magic milk! Even after all these years! This book brings magic and wonder as we had waited for this book to come out my sons begged for me to drive them to Utah to the launch party. I laugh now but they begged for months. Wish we could have came. They really enjoyed listening to it as young men as did I.
EB White got better as a reader and they used great effects for voice alteration. The story of a great adventure with excellent characters and imaginative struggles, and the music is beautiful and a great addition to the story.
They did have a few edit problems, the recording is from a cd and they forgot to remove some change the cd narratives.
I am going through a few days ago and I will not have the right thing for me to the wrong number here to view your email to you soon as I have a great time to time the best of all time low as a result of the primary reason I was just a reminder to be the first time in the morning to you
This is one ofbest books in the series it gives a great sense of closure and curiosity. What will happen to Kendra and Bracken ?what will happen to seth ?it left me asking these questions. I wanted so much more but it still gave a sense of closure to the book
My favorite series! I have listened to it many times. If you like good clean fun, with some magical adventure, you will love these books! I'm a 34 year old wife, mom and flight attendant, and this fun, imaginative series just never gets old. I can't recommend it enough!
I have very much enjoyed this entire series, and this book was probably the best of the five books. Perfect ending, and the reader was great all the way threw, you can tell he put a lot of work into it if I see that a audiobook is narrated by E.B Stevens I will be more likely to buy it. I need to find more books by Brandon Mull as well. He writes amazing story's.
