Painful!
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
Not really. I love Chloe Neill's books but I can barely keep up with the premise of this book, the narrator is so annoying.

Its a Chloe Neill book.
What didn’t you like about Mary Kane’s performance?
Everything! I would give no stars if this review would let me. I don't usually complain about narrators, some are hard to listen to but I get by because I get caught up with the story. In this one I am so annoyed 5 mins into it I can hardly "hear" the story to carry on. I usually finish any Chloe Neill book in a day, two at the most. I have had this one for just over a week and I am really struggling to finish it.

Apart from choosing books by my favorite authors I also pick many of my titles from Audible, Inc. and Audible Frontiers. I must say I was very surprised and disappointed that this audio version is by Audible Inc. I don't think I will attempt the other two books!

Terrible Narration
The story was good but the narration was so bad I almost stopped listening. Too old, choppy, and unnatural flow. Please consider reworking with a different narrator.

Awful narration
Would you try another book from Chloe Neill and/or Mary Kane?
Chloe...yes. Mary...no.
What other book might you compare Firespell to and why?
I don't know.
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Mary Kane?

Not pleased at all. Get a new narrator!! Very robotic!!
