I wish Sophie Turner had narrated alone.

The constant changing of narrators is putting me off the audiobooks. I don’t generally mind them individually, but together, they are tedious. This male narrator was monotone and didn’t keep with the story.

The saga ends :(

I'm sad the series has come to an end! The characters developed well and the epilogue tied up every loose end. Overall it was a great series and was extremely well written.

Wonderful!

I absolutely adore this series. Loved everything about it. The narrators are definitely a required taste but to each there own. I quite enjoyed them very much

Loved this last installment

Firstly, on narration: I have LOVED Jason Dohring since Veronica Mars, however, his narration was not to my liking. Sophie did wonderfully imo. I’ve always felt that CC should have stopped at Book 3. Book 4 & 5 didn’t do it for me but I rather enjoyed 6. Every time it was Jason’s turn to narrate I cringed. The Shadowhunters will always have a special place in my heart.

Narrators are TERRIBLE!!!!!

If you could sum up City of Heavenly Fire in three words, what would they be?

Worst Narrating EVER!!!!

If you’ve listened to books by Cassandra Clare before, how does this one compare?

The other books were amazing and I have had this pre-ordered since January. WHY change the narrators on the LAST book when the last four were the same narrators? I have listened to about half of the book in the last two days and I still cannot get into the story with the terrible narrating. SO DISAPPOINTING!!!!

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Jason Dohring and Sophie Turner ?

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, but I have to keep stepping away from it. Don't even know if I can even listen to it more than once.....

Any additional comments?

You can bet if Cassandra Clare even listened to the book for at least an hour....she would have known the narrating was not right for this book. With the large audience that listens to books, you would have thought that a little more consideration would have been made when selecting the narrators.

Half of the narration was good...

Sophie Turner was a great narrator! Jason Dohring was terrible, he was monotone and gave the characters weird British/Scottish accents that came and went. It would have been a thousand times better if Sophie had read the entire book.

Bad narration

Good book but both of the narrators were awful. The female mumbled and whispered and the man is monotone and dull. Almost ruined the whole book. #UnreliableNarrator #NewYork #DeepFriendship #Tagsgiving #Sweepstakes

Narration was terrible.

Any additional comments?

I have never heard a worse narration. I'm not even finished the book yet, but I' plugging through because I love the series. The male narrator, Jason Dohring, sounds bored and monotone. He should never be used again for any book. I have heard third graders read with more animation. I hope he has another job because narration is not his forte.
