Darkness has descended on the Shadowhunter world. Chaos and destruction overwhelm the Nephilim as Clary, Jace, Simon, and their friends band together to fight the greatest evil they have ever faced: Clary's own brother. Nothing in this world can defeat Sebastian - but if they journey to the realm of demons, they just might have a chance....
Lives will be lost, love sacrificed, and the whole world will change. Who will survive the explosive sixth and final installment of the Mortal Instruments series?

Love to read and get lost in my books! I started listening to audio books about a year ago (as I work-out) and love it- keeps me exercising. I then usually buy the good ones and read them all over again.
Bring back Molly Quinn or Natalie Moore, and Ed Westwick. They nailed it, brought the books to life. I'm sure these narrators would be fabulous in their own series- changing narrators wasn't the best idea.
Their accents are off. Sophie is passable but ...Clary is a New Yorker! Where is Jace's sarcasm- the tone is off- sounds lifeless.. I LOVE this series- but new narrators do not do the storyline justice- they even botch the pronunciation of common terms throughout the series. The book is well written. I was looking forward to this for so long :(
The book itself is great!
Can we re-do the narration with our old narrators?
I am so tired of listening to these books read by different narrators every time!
Story was fine. Narrators ruined it.
First of all, I never leave reviews but was compelled to do this to spare others from this horrible experience. Just when I thought things couldn't get any worse than Molly Quinn's nasal yet pitchy voice, they hired these two. In fairness to Sophie Turner, she may have a vey thick British accent but she did try to use an American"voice" for the New Yorker characters and made some half-hearted effort to inject some emotion into her reading (though Jace's humor and sarcasm were lost on her). Jason Dohring on the other hand, may be the worst narrator yet! He sounded like he was reading Dr. Seuss to a bunch of 5 year-olds! Really, it was insulting having to listen to him. I wish I didn't waste a credit on this and just read the book myself!
I love these books but the narrators have been and are still HORRIBLE!! There are wonderful narrators available. Why can't this publisher hire them?? It sounds like amateurs reading a book out loud.
I will not listen to any books listing these narrators. Better to read the books!
Interesting concept and story.
ANYONE BUT THE NARRATORS USED FOR THIS SERIES OF THESE BOOKS
The book is great, a great end to the series.
I have loved all of Cassandra Clare's books and have both read them and listened to them. Most of the narratiors have been good and sometimes even great. However, these two narrators are the worst I have heard in a long time especially Jason Dohring.
Please please please re-record this book maybe with Kate Rudd as one or the narrators.
The story was great! Action-packed from beginning to end! The perfect climax to a captivating series.
Different narrators altogether. Sophie Turner was passable, even though she botched the american accent on numerous occasions, but Jason Dohring was aweful! Monotonous, choppy, his phrase intonations were all wrong and he lacks flow and feeling. I found it very difficult to stay focused on the story every time he started reading! What a shame!
Please re-produce with better narrators!
Not sure who thought these two narrators would add to this audio book but they were wrong. I think I will need to switch to the Kindle version.
No, Sophie Turner does a good job and is easy to listen to but as soon as Jason Dohring starts reading I lose all interest. His voice is flat and monotone. It's absolutely the worst narration I have heard.
Replace Jason Dohring and the book would of been fine.
I wish they would stop changing the narrator's for every book.
I wouldn't wish those voices on anyone. The book was great as always but the voices ruined it.
The book was great. I have no problems with the writing just the voices that made me feel like I was listening to nails on a chalkboard.
Hello….Not everyone in the book has a british accent. Duh.
Just because someone is an actor does not mean they can narrate a book properly. I wish the series had stuck with the original narrator who was great. I wasn't a fan of the narrators from books 4 and 5, but I got used to the, This one gets more tolerable the more you listen, but as others have said Jason Dohring is pretty monotone. He has a specific pattern of speech fluctuations no matter what is going on. Turner was better at acting out the story, but her accent got in the way for me. The worst part was switching between these two since their styles are so different it accentuated the issue. With that in mind, the story is great and I would recommend, but maybe consider getting the written version instead of audio. When I started listening to it I had wished I had gotten the e-book. Too bad.
