Brian's Return Audiobook

Brian's Return

As millions of readers of Hatchet, The River, and Brian's Winter know, Brian Robeson survived alone in the wilderness by finding solutions to extraordinary challenges. But now that's he's back in civilization, he can't find a way to make sense of high school life. He feels disconnected, more isolated than he did alone in the North. The only answer is to return-to "go back in"-for only in the wilderness can Brian discover his true path in life, and where he belongs.

    "Where the soul is."

Another great addition to Brian's story, I recommend reading them in order. This one is not my favorite, but still a contender for a great book for young boys and adults alike. I actually liked Brian's Winter the best so far. This book led me to believe it was the last in the series, but I believe there is one more after it, I hope so anyway since I bought it. Maybe I just have the order mixed up. Narrator does a good job, but the music is a bit loud at first overrides some of the reading.

    "Background music sucks"

One of my favorites from Paulsen. But they play terrible background music at certain times that just kills the moments.

    "Gary Paulsen has great stories"
What did you love best about Brian's Return?

Gary Paulsen's books are great for boys. The descriptions intrigue and keep the boys entertained and asking questions.
