An Absolute Treasure!
You have now read the first book of the "Bloody Jack" series... and will read the next and all the ones that follow. I envy your first discovery of a world filled with hope, wonder, and yes... fear.
I'm an old guy and, listening again to these tales...gives me peace, joy, and hope our dreams will never end.

Fantastic & so much fun. Highly Recommend
This is such a fun & wonderful series.
Just can’t recommend it enough! And the narration is FANTASTIC.
I am very sad that both the wonderful author L.A. Meyer & & the amazing narrator,, have both left this world much too soon, KK at the young age of 48. Just so sad that no more books with be written or narrated by these two very talented people. Hope you both know wherever you are now, that your wonderful works continue to bring joy to more & more people.

A worthwhile adventure!
For older YA's. I'm in my sixties, but sometimes find YA adventures an interesting break from adult themes. This book is well written and the reader does a good job. I'll be listening to the next book in the series

Still a favorite
I first read the second book in this series back in my junior year of highschool (2008). Over 20 years later and many of my own life experiences I still adore the plucky heroine Jacky Faber and her miss guides adventures! At the rip age of 32 I rebought the entire series for audible because I do data entry and can't phisicaly read the book while working. I was so pleased with the narrator and love her voice for the character Jacky Faber! I am so picky when it comes to audio books that I have passed up other series I enjoyed due to bad casting but this is spot on. The author L.A. Meyer really does throw you into the scene without boring you with excessive detail which is a huge bonus. If there is anything I would have to say frustrates me it's that every single book has to have atleast 1 super inappropriate scene that isn't ok for kids though it should be ok for older teens even if it isn't morally ok in today's age it's realistic for the time.... all that being said I highly suggest this be added to your collection as a good book and great author

Just a fabulous book, and the narration is in my top ten (which is saying a lot as I’ve been an audible addict for almost a decade). Absolutely wonderful.

My favorite series of all time!!
I’m on my 3rd maybe 4th listen of the Bloody Jack series. I enjoy the character development, fun, drama and mischief in these books.
