Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

This is exactly what we like to get interested in and keep talking about. The writing is very realistic and the same genre but different. I loved it. Listened to it twice right off the bat.

What did you like best about this story?

The story is told in whole, there are parts that are thought invoking and leading, making sure your imagination is always active and wondering what will happen next.

Which scene was your favorite?

Being out of control, in your room, wanting nothing and only one thing and here he comes. You can feel the comfort through the writing.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

OH yes, I listened to it twice. As soon as it was over I listened to it again and got the whole story all put together again.

One of my new favorites, I hope this is going to be a series.

Excellent New Series

This story is wonderfully read by narrator Kevin T. Collins. The characters are interesting and the story is compelling.

A nice YA romance/light and dark witch book

Sometimes I like YA romance, good vs evil books, even though I'm in my 50's. I wouldn't put it in the top 10 of the YA books I've read, but it's probably in the top 20's. While this is a good stand alone book, it is a series. I've bought the second book, and as long as it doesn't go to deep into the teenage romance stuff and the second book is pretty good I may continue the series.

so much better than the movie

I listen to this book first and really did enjoy it. As soon as I was finished I decided to go rent the movie was very disappointed. They simply removed about three major characters, and of the ones remaining they chopped this down to the point where it was almost not the same story. Granted I'm almost always a believer in the book is better than the movie but in this regards it's night and day...or maybe dark and light

Perhaps, but not soon! The Movie was fantastic and the book even better!

I like when Lena goes Dark at random times throughout the book.

This book was very long and had way more than the movie. I suggest this book to anyone and everyone!

I love that this story kept me guessing the whole time. A new twist came at the right time and I LOVED it!!!

What did you like best about this story?

I love the connection between Lena and Ethan. They have a great bond and it's something that only comes once in a lifetime.

What about Kevin T. Collins’s performance did you like?

He was GREAT!!! I could not have asked for a better reader.

My jaw dropped in many places. I don't think I've ever reacted this much to a book before.

I enjoyed Kevin T. Collins' performance a lot.
I loved the detail in the story that made you feel like you were right there in the action.

I would recommend this book to those who love the Teen Love & Sci Fi stories.

Twighlight series, Harry Potter, The Lightening Thief, etc.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

The narrator's did great. They definitely did not need all the musical & other sound effects. The author's words and narrators did well-as is. I feel it took away from the book-on-tape experience.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I liked Amma, with her love for the young man she had raised since infancy . I enjoyed the familiar stories about life in a small town in the south.

The music did make a difference in the overall theme of the book.

I loved the flashback scenes with Genevieve and Ethan Wate and the civil war.
