Publisher's summary

Dear Lord,

I need your help and sooner would be better than later. Wouldn't you know it, just as soon as I decide to attempt the five-day Bible study challenge, my parents start heaping on loads of pressure to get me into Julliard. My friend Amy isn't any better, urging me to ask Luke Ryan to homecoming. As if the cute, transfer jock would actually go out with me. I mean, we're kinda friends, and I've enjoyed our geometry study sessions, but in case Amy hasn't noticed, I'm the invisible one at Aubrey Christian Academy, and I like it that way. On top of that, I have a feeling Luke's concealing something behind those chocolate-brown eyes of his. I know I can be self-centered and a bit melodramatic, but I really do want to seek your will for my life. Then maybe I'll even figure out which direction points up.

Sincerely,

Andrea Jamison

Cute Early Teen Christian Fiction

This is an early teen Christian Fiction. I usually love YA books but this one was really geared towards early teens. The main character was very immature for her age. Most teens are not that clueless about friendships and someone they like. She acted more like a pre teen to me. There are Bible verses throughout and explanations about her train of thought.

The narrator did a fairly good job bringing the story to life.

The story was cute with a sweet boy that acted really mature for his age. It was quite a contrast with Andrea's immature behavior. Luke is a great guy and he went over and beyond expectations to try to show his feelings to her. It is a very clean Christian centered book with quite a bit of teen drama.

This is not my usual genre of book but overall I enjoyed it and would like to read the sequel to find out what happens next.

Andrea and the 5-Day Challenge

Andrea and the 5 day Challenge
: Cindy K Green

This is a YA Christian fiction. Andrea Jamison is almost 17 years old, a piano protegee and very sheltered. When she begins experiencing normal teenage emotions she freaks out.

From the daily life I see of teens and tweens, her behavior is more on a middle school level than high school.

It is a clean early romance that doesn't over preach, but little reminders are thrown in to let the listener know.

The narration was well done. The characters were well portrayed. Leonor A Woodworth's voice was a little mature for this book, in my opinion.
