I think this is the best listen so far

What was one of the most memorable moments of Alice in Zombieland?

Start to finish, great read, couldn't stop listening finished this book in one day! I can't wait for the next installment in the series

Alice, Cole, Kat, etc.

Alice, White Rabbits & Zombies! This is no fairy tale.

Great narrator she was perfect for this story. I love this author already and normally read her paranormal romance for adults, and was nervous about reading a teen read but I was not disappointed at all. This story kept me from start to finish and Ioved it. I really can't wait for the next book. I HOPE they make this book into a movie, I would love to see it on screen. It would be a great new twist on zombies!!

somewhere in the middle.

What other book might you compare Alice in Zombieland to and why?

Poison Princess By Kresley Cole (One Of My 2012 Favorites). Because they're both YA PNR novels written by accomplished adult UF writters.

How could the performance have been better?

Her voice.... I don't know it just was a bit droll

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I love Ali's grandparent's interrogations.

Any additional comments?

Not really what I expected, but maybe that's a good thing. To me, zombie equals apocalypse... And... I was thinking this would be a little closer to the books namesake, AIW, but this book is not a retelling. This book was closer to Buffy the V slayer with cannibal ghosts. I LOVED Ali's grandparents!!! They made this book for me.

Loved it!

I have read the hard back once before and enjoyed it so much. listening to it on audible was so much fun. I stay so busy, I dont have as much time to read like I like, but audible makes it easier to enjoy my books as I work. Now....on to book 2!

An Intriguing Enough Story...

Is there anything you would change about this book?

Probably not. The book itself was pretty standard fare as Y.A. goes although I have to admit that it was on the more interesting end of the spectrum in my opinion and considering I don't tend to go for "zombie" books, I think that's a good thing.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Alice in Zombieland?

There were actually quite a few. I suppose Alice's dad fighting to try to save her was the MOST memorable though.

How could the performance have been better?

Natalie Gold needed to at least pretend to try to use different voices for various characters. As it was, I stopped listening to the Audible and just finished by reading the book on my Kindle.

Did Alice in Zombieland inspire you to do anything?

Not especially.

This certainly had a lot of good themes in it and while I imagine the rest of the series is equally funny & good, I don't know that I'll read the following books.

I loved it I was addicted to it and had to listen more. I love it!

Awesome Book for Adults and Teens!

Gena has another great hit! Even though this book is marketed to teens, adults will enjoy it as well. Gena did a great job developing the characters. Alice's best friend Kat is fun and kind, and the boyfriend Cole is hot and a great guy. She really captured high school kids and their characters. The book has a lot of emotion in it - sadness from loss, laughter and love. The book is appropriate for teens (unlike her adult books). I can't wait for the next book in the series!

Would you listen to Alice in Zombieland again? Why?

Oh heck yea! I loved it and I'm sure I will pick up on a few things I missef the first time. PLUS I CANNOT WAIT FOR THE 2ND ONE TO COME OUT ON AUDIBLE! I'll need to read it I'll be in withdrawal lol

What other book might you compare Alice in Zombieland to and why?

Poison Princess (the arcana chronicles) because it sucks you in just like this one and out of the now 36 books I've read in the last 5 months they are both in my top 5.

Which character – as performed by Natalie Gold – was your favorite?

I don't even know how to pick but i love kat because shes amazing and such good friend. Cole too obviously becuse he's so interesting nd hotttt. :) And ALICE because she is so brave, a smart a** in a good way, and shes the lead!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Ohh yes. Very addictive.

Can wait for "Through the Zombie Glass" to come out on
Audible. You guys better have that book out in September of this year like everyone else will!

Great Read!

I really enjoyed this book. It was not what I was expecting, and was pleasantly surprised that the direction this book took was not predictable.

Great Story Line

I absolutely love these series. It left me wanting more. I would love to see books on the other characters and how there relationships were.

Great teen romance

I love Jennifer Walters adult romances and I had forgotten how fantastic it compete just sit and watch 2 people be extremely Frustrated about the sexual tension and not able to do anything about it funny cute and exciting.
