Publisher's summary

Inspired by their grandmother, cousins Elaine and Jan decide to open tea for two, a lakeside tearoom where they can serve up cups of comfort to their patrons. When they buy a teapot at a flea market, the dealer tries to buy it back, and then a woman starts snooping around their house. Is she after the teapot, or the elegant piece of jewelry the electrician found in a wall? Then a would be thief nearly gets away with stealing their property from a restorer’s shop. When Elaine is threatened by a midnight burglar, it’s time for extreme action. Determined to make a success of their venture, the cousins press on in faith, uncovering many surprises and family secrets as they settle into the community and grow their new business together.

Tearoom for Two is a pleasant story.

I am hoping Audible offers more Guidepost books soon. Church Choir Mysteries are some of my favourites.

Unique Cozy Mystery

I found this refreshing as a cozy mystery without a murder to solve. Loved the mystery around something being found during the reno of the old house; and finding out info on the tea pots. For those who dream of owning your own tea house....this could be a treat! I enjoyed the way that Christianity was present; however, it wasn't pushed on you ...like you must believe this...

The narrator was a tad boring. Just needed a little more pep, but that's just me. Overall, I really enjoyed the story that the author weaved with the cousins.

Such a Sweet Fun Book!

I did not expect to enjoy this book so much as it is not my typical detective murder mystery, who -done -it kind of thing. But it was a gift from a friend and I had to take a chance if for no other reason then to at least give it a try. I'm absolutely delighted by the characters and the end of the book made me hold my breath in suspense. I am very glad I took the time to enjoy this book.

Preachy

This is a christian story that gets very preachy! To each his own, but a book that continues to mention prayer and god should be labeled as such. Didn’t finish and was returned.
