Sweet Holiday Romance
New RN Chiara Johnson's temporary nursing job at Wellington Acres to take care of injured Gertrude Thatcher might make her change her mind about moving back home to Kansas after New Years when she meets Gertrude's brother Vance. But she was hurt by Kevin, a guy she met online and moved to Virginia for only to find out he wasn't who he said he was. And Vance was hurt by his ex-wife who cheated on him. They both have a lot of trust issues to overcome. I loved reading about all the horses on Vince's estate especially Peppermint. The descriptions of the cookie baking made me want to make Christmas cookies. And I would love to go to a tree light ceremony like the one Turning Point put on. Chiara's little sister Emma was sweet and precocious. Gertrude is still bucking against convention with her romance with older stable manager Joe Brown. I would love to read a follow up romance story about them. There were plenty of funny, romantic, and even some suspenseful moments in this sweet holiday romance.
The narrator has an upbeat voice with clear pronunciation and voice changes and inflections, but she came off a little stilted.

I recently had to say goodbye to my furbaby, he was with me for over 14 years. This was a fun, heartwarming story to hear that helped lift some of the sadness away and brought a smile to my face.

A sweet, clean, Christmas romance. I enjoyed this story of Chiara & Vance. They have one awesome whirlwind to their love story. Anthea Hallett-Ybarra does a fantastic job narrating this book.

Great Read
Sweet Peppermint Kisses was a great quick read by Josie Riviera. Chiara passed her RN exam and planned to return to Kansas from Virginia. But her home health client's brother makes her reconsider her plans. Vance doesn't have much time for Christmas with all of her responsibilities. Chiara was excited for the season and it starts rubbing off on him. I really enjoyed reading Chiara and Vance's story and can't wait to read more by the author.

This is a fun uplifting Christmas story
As a professional, dedicated nurse Sierra had been working far away from her Kansas home. It had been years since she was home for Christmas. She received the opportunity to work for a prestigious family as a personal nurse to the young woman, a sister to the wealthy Ben. This would enable her to pay off her tuition and return home to her family. However, the contract was until the New Year or until the girls broken leg was healed.
What Sierra wasn’t prepared for was how handsome, caring and hard working the man was.
Sweet Peppermint Kisses is an uplifting, joyful , romantic story, sure to fill one’s Holidays with contented
