Passion and Accountability

nurture the relationships around you and understand your role as a team player. the construct of the sixth man really hit home for me with a boom and bust sales position along with the need to balance the needs of my passion, my family.

Covers more topics than I expected

A lot of books like this cover similar topics so they end up reinforcing important concepts that many authors write about. However, this book is different in that other important issues are addressed and I like tge author’s writing style.

Awesome

This is an awesome book that leads to a leadership mindset.
I’m listening to it for the second time and it may be a third and fourth .

Loved this book

Man I’ve grown so much listening to these books. I’m new to my position at work and it’s helping me so much to read all of your books.

Just ok

I would like more examples from women in business. There are way more examples to look at than sports. Also good ideas but the HOW is nowhere to be found.

Dated List of Quotes

Reading this book was like reading somebody’s stream of consciousness in between a bunch of quotes. Some of the quotes were interesting, but this author did very little to add anything to the stream of quotes from other people that are in this book other than his own self interest in his own writing and his own past. I would never hire this person as a consultant or as a leadership coach.

In need of serious updating

This book has a well written message that is lost by the glamorization of now infamous people. Using the likes of Rudy Giuliani and Christopher Columbus as heros of success discredited the author and almost made me stop reading. in today's time, this is like praising Hitler. I will not recommend this out of touch book without a much needed update.

this book was pretty useless

it didn't talk about anything more than common cliches such as cultivate teamwork, have integrity, take on responsibility, and have self discipline. All of these things are very obvious, and I feel like I didn't learn anything from this book that I can take on into my life. One good thing in this book is that the first few chapters were somewhat motivating.
