Publisher's summary

It's time to remember the Alamo all over again!

In the long war against terrorism, the US government had taken on extraordinary powers. And now that the war was won, powerful forces in the government had no intention of relinquishing those powers. As in 1860, the country was on the verge of civil war. And as in 1860, a leader arose to save the country - but it was not the president this time. Instead, the governor of Texas was the woman of destiny. And, though the federal government had more guns and troops, David was about to give Goliath a run for his money....

"Tyranny endured does not make law"

After the rate of fed growth during the ronies, I can say that the tyrants in this book moved too quickly. and perhaps that the the lesson to learn, in order to spur action one must agitate the tempers of said tyrants.

Just a clear look at the Swamp Creatures

Let's see, what am i doing here...oh yes: Reviewing this title
Kratman at his best; applying his socio-political philosophy to action packed content in order to keep the attention of even the educationally challenged university graduates. I consider this a conceptually updated, raw edged, sequel to Unintended Consequences; ie, if the thoughtful, carefully applied revolution doesn't work...this is what you get; Inevitable.

Kratman's Best

I really liked this one - more Tom Clancy than Tom Kratman. Decent story, no going overboard on the tech geek stuff or super detailed in how the fictitious miitary units are set up. No crucifixion's!!!!

I'd never allow the idiots we have in charge now hold a constitutional convention ...

Listening to this in 2022 made me shiver, as if Hillary won, It would have most likely been a documentary. the end is awesome, and I agree with almost every amendment to the constitution.
