The mental game may be more important in poker than in any other form of competition. It's one of the only games in the world where you can play perfectly and lose - again and again. Hundreds of poker players have turned to mental game coach Jared Tendler's revolutionary approach to help them play their best, no matter how badly they're running. In this audiobook you'll find simple, step-by-step instructions and proven techniques to permanently fix problems such as tilt, handling variance, emotional control, confidence, fear, and motivation. With the games getting tougher, now is the time to take these problems head on.

This book really changed my definition of "working on my game". Most of the concepts Jared shares also apply to any sport and life in general. Great piece of knowledge and best poker related book I've read/listened to so far. (And I read a lot of those)
I love the book and information Jared is putting out about how to mentally prepare yourself and become mentally strong to play without tilting or at least controlling tilting while taking beats which occurs to every poker player out there. The only complaint I have is the monotone nature Jared has narrating, wish he could add a little more naturalness to his tone and emotion with his story telling to emphasize certain points throughout the book like Annie Duke does in her audible book. All in all Jared's books having helped me fine tune my game and get to a point where I'm doing things unconsciously competent now and not tilting as much as i once did! Awesome book!!
This is a practical book for all those looking to better understand Tilt. If you want to learn about tilt and how to recognize and manage it, it is a must read
Listen.you kidding is not audio for this book.get zgrip
Good and clear improve my game and chances of wini g
Well written good teacher
record it with much better quality
less lists and more dialog. Lists do not translate well to audio books.
Book contains valuable material, but does not make a good audio book.
It's my favorite book on poker psychology. My background is in psychology and I have a graduate degree in it. That doesn't make me immune to my own mental game flaws and. Jared is well qualified to teach on the matter. He presents some very common mental leaks in an easy to understand way and provides practical feedback on addressing the leaks.
The whole book is helpful. The leaks Jared covers are so common you're bound to identify with at least one. It's like having coaching sessions with him to read this,
He's good at this. The material is great and he reads it well for a non-professional reader.
Yes. After the overview I couldn't wait to get to the chapters that were specific to my own mental game weaknesses.
