Publisher's summary

While the politicians on both sides negotiate, the armies in the field are fighting a brutal war of attrition across the rugged Korean Peninsula. Sniper Caje Cole and his squad have one clear objective, which is to capture the next hill and keep it from falling back into enemy hands. That’s not easy when the enemy still attacks in overwhelming numbers.

At the Battle of Triangle Hill, the soldiers find themselves in a stalemate with Chinese forces, fighting to capture and then regain a strategic foothold. To make matters worse, a deadly enemy shooter has positioned himself on the hill known as Sniper Ridge, picking off the defenders and outshooting Cole. To defeat this enemy, Cole must return to his mountain roots as a hunter, tracker, and jaw-dropping marksman.

Another delightful, fun and heartbroken story

When I finished the last book in this series I was so excited to see the next book was in audio. I am hook on this author, his stories are filed with danger, thrills, excitement, humor that makes that made me chuckle, he also gives you sorrow, pain, anger, the writes in away that it fills like you are there, you are always on the edge of your seat just waiting for the outcome. There were times I felt so sad for all the men had to go through, and the lost of so many lives. The conditions they had to go through it was amazing any of our men came home. I feel the author did his home work and this story has to be close to what happened long ago. I hope it isn't long before the next one in this series comes out.

The narrator did a wonderful job of narration he put feeling into the audio. His voice is very powerful, clear and pleasant to listen to. There are no background noises or any volume changes His tones are very even he never leaves you guessing how the character feels. He gives you a very clear rich audio that you do not want to put down. The male voices are as pleasant as his female voices. You never have any trouble knowing who is talking or just what is on their mind. He uses the correct tones with each character just as I pictured them to be. He chuckles when he needs to or shows sorrow through his voice. He really brought this story to life for me, I had no trouble watching in my mind as his voice smoothed over me making this almost like a movie. He made me feel what each character was going through, at time I held my breath waiting to see what was going to happen next. The narrator has a knack to reach into you mind, pulling on your heartstrings and gibing you a highly entertaining listen. I really enjoyed his voice and could listen to it all day with no problem. Mr. Bennett has become one of my favorite narrators I know when I see his name I am going to be taken away and truly enjoy the listen.

The author gives you a believable story that is highly entertaining as well as pull on your heartstrings, he makes you laugh, want to cry and even sigh, I really enjoyed watching these snipers taking each other on and working their best to take out the other while I hold my breath to see which one would die and who would live. He made me feel like I was right there in the middle of it all. It was very emotional, and sad but the men feel real joking with each other but getting right back to business. I can’t tell you how well this author and narrator blend so well together, and how much I enjoyed this story. I am off to start the next one in the series.

It keeps your attention and your anticipation high

I loved it when Cole made his way behind the sniper to put him down at last.
