Great tale

Typical Tony Hillerman always great read. Never a dull moment with characters you know and several introduced.

Repetitious

More like Skeleton Story. This about two hours worth, padded, stretched, and talky. The same information is repeated over and over again, ad nauseam. Characters do something, then tell another character what they did. The plane crash backstory is told several times. The narrator is annoyingly folksy. The climax is telegraphed and unsurprising.
