Publisher's summary

International oil exploration normally attracts large companies, big money, giant egos, and unscrupulous corruption. Against this backdrop, Montana-born geologist Jake Tillard pursues his dream to discover natural gas in Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula. Unprepared for a nasty battle to control a previously worthless patch of desert, Jake encounters murder, kidnapping, espionage, and blackmail. Helped by a desert Bedouin, he struggles to outwit Israeli power brokers, Islamic fanatics, and US government agents to save his daughter and achieve his dream.

A must read if you like, richly developed characters with a suspenseful realistic storyline

In an intriguing storyline with really well-developed characters that you enjoyed rooting for - lots of twisted subplots - it took you to the seemingly unattainable fairytale ending
The settings are all alluring and richly described. I like edge of your seat stories that deal with realistic fundamentals of things like energy and the earth itself. Look forward to the remaining books in the trilogy to come out on Audible.
