Publisher's summary

Darkness falls across the land....

Things look different in the moonlight. Old trees become gnarled claws. The howling wind transforms into the cry of a hungry beast. And jagged tombstones turn to fangs, eager to devour new flesh and drag fresh bodies into their graves....

Scare Street brings you volumes 11 and 12 of Short Horror Stories in a single edition. Five diabolical morsels of fear, brought together for your listening pleasure. And each tale packs enough scream-inducing terror to keep you listening all through the night.

But as the moon grows full, and the sky goes dark, you must ask yourself - are these visions of terror you see just a dream? Or are they real?

You’ll have to survive until the sun rises to find out....

Wow just when you’ve gotten the best…..

I love how these stories intensify in darkness from a variety of angles. Ensuring there’s a scare for everyone. Very well written!

Great collection

We’ve got two brothers digging for buried treasure in their families backyard, they dig up more than they bargained for.

A man down on his luck plays a game to ‘turn his luck around’ but that obviously does not turn out as planned.

A man decides to steal a haunted artifact from a friend but he soon finds out that he should have left it alone (that one ends up kind of gross in my opinion! Enjoyable nonetheless).

Next we have a great pair of stories, both a lesson in leaving family heirlooms alone once their relatives have passes, or maybe they are still hanging around in one form or another?

I love these short stories, I imagine they’d be great for around the campfire, though I always seem to read/listen to them right before bed! Great combination of creepy and creative done by the authors. I wish I knew how they came up with their stories. If you like creepy stories definitely give these a listen, John Pirhalla does a fantastic job narrating.

Double the scares!

If you thought the short stories books were too short, you need to read two of them at a time. You still get the same great creepy short stories that are long enough to get you from point A to Point B when driving around town, but less switching of the book.

5 Good Shorts

I absolutely love this short story series only complaint always want more and hate when they end. In Vol 11 enjoyed all 3 no favorites this time. 1st Buried Treasure, skip digging; 2nd Lucky, surprise ending and 3rd Good Money, never take anyone’s money. In Vol 12 I enjoyed both stories no favorites this time. 1st Home Again don’t open box that grandpa said to never to you may open another Pandora box; 2nd The Inhabitant of the Mirror, poor Michael knew something was wrong about it. Highly recommend if you want quick horror shorts by insane authors' imaginations with good narration.
