Just good clear instructions for every area. I like how he tells you everything you will need to gather before you even start the tasks. I always think the job is bigger than it really is. And his list of things I need to get started prove to me that the job is not what I have dreaded in my mind. It is catchy, once you start your momentum takes over and it is fun!

Something for everyone

Where does Unstuff Your Life rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I've only listened to one other Audible book, but this was just as well done as the other one (The Gifts of Imperfection by Brene Brown). This is a very well written book with excellent advice on organizing your home, car, digital information, etc. I enjoyed the narrator as well, which is a dealbreaker for me in audiobooks. The only downside to LISTENING to this book instead of reading it is all of the lists he goes through. They are still helpful, but I found myself spacing out sometimes while he was reading through a list. It would also be nice to reference a specific section while organizing that area. Still, I found this book extremely helpful and I plan to listen to it multiple times as I continue working on organizing my life. Wish Audible/Amazon offered Whispersync on this book, because that would definitely improve the customer experience.

What does Andrew J. Mellen bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Listening to the book was nice because I could actually listen to the book while I was organizing. Wish this book had Whispersync with a Kindle book; I would highly recommend it.

Excellent book & narrator - wanted Whispersync

I have held onto too many things for too long. I have begun to let go of some of those things and I am feeling lighter...I would recommend this book to anyone that wants to get a better handle on what "stuff" you have in your home or office.

May Change Your Life

If you could sum up Unstuff Your Life in three words, what would they be?

Entertaining informative motivating (in the most fun way possible when talking about cleaning out your garage for example )

Who was your favorite character and why?

Author is an excellent speaker, insightful, & laugh out loud funny

What’s an idea from the book that you will remember?

There are many but his sarcastic insights sprinkled throughout the book made me laugh out loud . I will listen to this book many times...just plug in at any page to get my thinking back on track.

Any additional comments?

Bought this book because of the reviews... & to deal with my office.

Most of my life is nicely organized but, well, you know, we all have our problem areas. Andrew gave me some insights & the mild chiding I needed to tackle those areas.

Simple stuff like I never thought to listen to my fav tunes while filing, changing my thinking from "augh, have to tackle the €£%¥# pile of filing now" to the feeling of satisfaction of getting it done & staying on top of it.

He will help you change how you think about your stuff & your life in the most entertaining way.

Funny & insightful. More than just about stuff.
