Williamson uses a wide and varied repertoire to teach the Law of Divine Compensation. As a student of ACIM, I found this audio enhanced my understanding of both the Course as well as The Law of Divine Compensation. Personal anecdotes, shared experiences, prayers and an enlightened understanding of Cinderella are all shared throughout the many chapters. The book has suggestions and prayers for individuals as well as businesses.
Unlike many of the books on money and manifestations available today, this one went beyond the concept of "think happy thoughts and attract abundance." Williamson offers many concrete examples for meta-physical content.
Very practical point of view from a very self-sufficient state to generate the wealth we deserve and open possibilities to more as we provide a service to society. Removes guiltiness from feeling bad about earning money; presents a healthy alternative approach to earning money as it is the result of blessings on the earnings for fulfilling our destiny and being of good to society. Love the book! She is one of the great contemporary masters and leaders. God bless her work!
Me and my role as a productive gifted and compensated spiritual been in this human experience.
Her voice, enthusiasm, devotion to deliver such a great job in content and also reading it with passion.
Made me read/listen to it non-stop... only 3 books have caused this effect in my life.
Worth to treat yourself with this treasure.
I listen to about 75 self-help audio books per year. This is among the top 5-10%.
I love the story of the driver who has just moved from NY to L.A. in hopes of making it as an artist but is convinced he has to schmooze and appeal to pop culture in order to launch his career. I also love the scenario of imagining all former and future co-workers lined up as though in line for a movie with oneself inside the theater, sending love to all of them.
She is truly inspired. The advice is novel and pragmatic and she blends messages of taking responsibility with firm instructions to surrender control. She has a way of explaining these apparent contradictions in ways that makes sense.
One interesting proposition by MW: Rather than focusing on manifesting a 'positive outcome' as so many law of attraction teachings would have us do, she suggests we send love to all the people who will help us along the way - along with all the people *we* will help along in the process. She speaks of being receptive and loving toward strangers because you never know where job opportunities will come from. That was sobering. I realize I am impatient with strangers and random people I encounter because I'm so focused on trying to achieve outcomes. I now see how misguided this is!
It's one of those rare audio-books that gets better as it proceeds. The last few chapters have powerful and concise prayer ideas - so refreshing to hear senior teachers speak of love, service, and gratitude. Many New Age spiritual teachings are pandering to individualism and materialism. She doesn't say we should abandon material pleasures; quite the contrary! But we need to remember greater purpose, which is love toward God and one another. It's the true fuel for - and outcome of - manifesting.
I am a fan of Marianne Williamson, her teachings, and her thinking so it would be hard for me to not like anything she has written. This book offered the encouragement and redirection my life needed right now. Sometimes we need to be re-focused and Marianne gently did that. What perfect timing here at the new year and start of a new Baktun!
As always she brings her awesome prayers to each chapter and weaves many teachings from 'A Course in Miracles' into her story. I appreciate that she pulls stories out of her own life to illustrate her point.
If you are looking for a book to offer a deep breath of fresh air then purchase this one.

Yes, I have and this one stands right next to the rest.
There is always a Devine order to things.
Good job Marianne!
I always prefer the audio version of her books. Mariannes voice is so soothing and easy to listen to. I'm on my third listen.
All of the examples where the law of divine compensation worked in ways other than the person thought it should work. I guess the bottom line is that just doing good is enough.
The woman with the cafe.
Do good and you will be compensated.
Well, I'm not the best writer but I read a lot of books and this book is so much more than these few lines Im writng. it auctually tells you how to BE in the world not just what to do. And what she says to BE absolutley resonates with me at my core. I now know that I don"t have to be someone I truely am not and that the universe will compensate me. Just buy the book, it's amazing!
Very disappointed! The author rambles and repeats the same ideas and thoughts repeatedly. This book could have been condensed down to a paragraph. I hung in there trying to make the best of it but I turned it off and deleted it from my library when the author started pushing her political views. Didn't realize I was buying a book filled with political dogma. Not at all what I had hoped for when I purchased it.
A gentle kind and lovely book, which gives great insight. Marianne Williamson is an inspirational and understanding author.
Yes, every day. I also ended up buying the book in print for all my friends
