This one surprised me!

What did you love best about The Five Elements of Effective Thinking?

It's short, simple and straightforward. Doesn't try to tackle too much.

I didn't expect much from it, based on reviews and summary, but all in all, it's a good book I'll re-listen to again at some point in the future, where I might need some encouragement for my inner genius.

You see, the book describes what geniuses and alike are doing, to be and do what they are and do. They argue that anyone can mimic those elements of thinking. The elements ring true for me, because I've always been thinking that way: asking challenging question, being deeply curious, etc. So in a way, I'm "a natural talent/genius" and doesn't really need this book. But, it's good to know that what it extols is true. At least it is, based on my own experience, as well as the traits I see in other entrepreneuers, inventors, thinkers, creatives, I've come across.

Steve Jobs for example, exhibited all these 5 elements to a very high degree.

Go on and get yourself some genius:)

What a surprise

I picked this up as a sale item with no expectations except the title. I'd pay full price for this and am recommending this to friends.

It covers a lot of great material with simple exercises and very relatable examples. Truesly 5 simple ways.

Think it through

The primary key is to ask good questions. Simply think more deeply. THINK. Think again. Ask more questions.

Worth a READ, and REREAD!

Would you consider the audio edition of The Five Elements of Effective Thinking to be better than the print version?

I had to read the book twice (or more appropriately listen and read), it was that good and note worthy. There were a lot of usable strategies but more importantly opportunity to integrate effective strategy into daily practice.

Interesting and relatively honest - math focused

I think this makes a great attempt at providing a frame work for people who seek constant growth. Even more so, the story reinforces the principle that life is constantly changing.
