I am a believer of Steven Covey's 7 habits, read it and listened to it as a young professional, have used it many times in both my personal and business life. When my son's 9th grade summer reading requirement was 7 habits for teens...I was thrilled. I ordered thinking I would just breeze through and listen to parts...ended up listening to the book and then listening again with him. I would recommend it to any parent who has a child who like to set goals, plays sports, and win in life. Sean does a great job reading his words, and the kids telling their storie and view point add some interest. My son enjoyed it also.
This is a great ride and discuss book. While riding with your teenager you can stop and discussion each Habit. It could be reviewed when having trouble with mastering a habit without having to redo the entire book.
I like that various voices that read the parts of contributing teenagers. This breaks-up the information in a way that makes it interesting.
Even though I'm no longer a teenager, the book has helped me relate to the teenagers with which I work each day. It reminds me of the challenges teens face.
Easy and entertaining to listen to. A great start or intro to the book for teens that don't like to read. I only wish I had ordered the workbook to go along with it.
Great for any age. Perfect for 14 to 17 year olds. Very well written and well suited for audible version. Expected it to be good and was pleasantly surprised with overall quality. Related to his fathers book but different enough to stand alone as a terrific piece.
Awsome presentation of the classic 7 habits. A fun read, even for resistant teens (and adults too!). We frequently have it playing at home and I will "catch" my son completely stop whatever he was doing and get sucked in. As a parent, I am surprised at how much I can learn from the 7 habits from a teens perspective.
Read it with the 2014 edition book. Many of the personal narratives do not match as well as word selection. Even parts that do match are not read word for word. Not a huge deal, but if you were going to use both make sure to get the book that matches the audio.
Enjoyed it. Great stories and great perspective on the 7 Habits. Even older adults can listen to this book to expand and deepen one's understanding. I wish there was a young adult book.
Yes, already listened twice and will listen again
Habit7, when talking about balancing activities
I purchased "the 7 habits of happy kids" too for my other (younger) son. That was great too. I recommended it to my sister who is a preschool teacher.
