The internationally recognized teacher, speaker, and New York Times best-selling author of A Return to Love argues that our desire to avoid pain is actually detrimental to our lives, disconnecting us from our deepest emotions and preventing true healing and spiritual transcendence.
Marianne Williamson is a best-selling author, a world-renowned teacher, and one of the most important spiritual voices of our time. In Tears to Triumph, she argues that we - as a culture and as individuals - have learned to avoid facing pain. By doing so we are neglecting the spiritual work of healing.
Instead of allowing ourselves to embrace our hurt, we numb it, medicate it, dismiss it, or otherwise divert our attention so that we never have to face it. In refusing to acknowledge our suffering, we actually prolong it and deny ourselves the opportunity for profound wisdom - ultimately limiting our personal growth and opportunity for enlightenment. Frozen by denial, we are left standing in the breach. Whole industries profit from this immobility, and while they have grown rich, we have become spiritually poorer.
As Marianne makes clear, true healing and transcendence can come only when we finally face our pain and wrestle with what it has to teach us. Written with warm compassion and profound wisdom, Tears to Triumph offers us a powerful way forward through the pain, to a deeper awareness of our feelings, our lives, and our true selves.

This book is for anyone who is suffering or has suffered from loss, betrayal, grief, and other heart pain.
Marianne's soft and eloquent voice is a nice touch on this book. It was my first experience with one of her books and I I'll be buying more.
The information shared is transformative and amazing. There are several profound insights that are a wake up call to the human race.
This book will bring love, light, and healing to your life.
What a wonderful world!
I am a big fan of Marianne Williamson and I think this book is a real treasure. Every word she says is medicine for the soul. It nails down as I have never heard before the reason why we need to love, forgive and live a beautiful life. It has helped me enormously! I couldn't take my earphones off, I listened to it entirely in ONE day! IT IS THAT GOOD! Fantastic, great job Marianne you are a beautiful soul.
If you're on a spiritual journey, this needs to be a staple in your library. It is one of the best books I've listened to in a long time. It's so rich, so lovely, so divine. Thank you Marianne!!
I am a miracle worker. Doing what I can to choose love over fear.
Chapter 1 should be epilouge. otherwise, perfectly added. take it in. extremly important wake-up call.
As an RSR, I decided as long as I would be on the road much of the time, I would educate myself with audio programs; so I did. Thx Audible
I wish Marianne was running for President of the United States. We need more Love and less judgement.
In my spiritual journey, I now more fully comprehend what it means to be "awakened"... to be awake to endless possibility and expansive joy.
Absolutely an amazing and awesome topic, delivery very welcoming. Learned a lot, as always when reading material by Marianne Williamson.
"a powerful experience"
Absorbing from the start. The book speaks to your innermost self and resonates with you. It's validates your beliefs and strengthens your spiritual core.
What an amazing find. Thank you.
"Too much God"
Im very spiritual and I do believe in God (of sorts) but the reference here is never ending. Does not add to Louise Hay's books, so if you're looking for similar books this one is not the one. Same message but extremely repetitive.
"Helped to heal the last part of my puzzle! ♡"
Utterly inspiring! Having just came out of a dark night of the soul this really helped me make more sense of it, and even feel that I am grateful to have endured it as I now feel whole. Thank you Marianne-you continue to be someone I admire very much!☆
Worth spending some time with: containing many valuable, helpful insights. Read well which makes for easy listening.
It started off well but seemed to suddenly become entirely about Faith and God and Jesus and very repetitive... may have balanced out again, but had to stop listening as it was getting quite frustrating.
Initial enjoyment followed by massive disappointment.
"Amazing book, comforting while also inspiring"
my 19-year old pet just passed away 3 weeks ago, only a few days after this book came out. it's been extremely helpful in getting through the pain, and it's also much more than that. it's a guide how to get to live your most perfect life, the life you were meant to live. I feel as purposeful as never before, realising that we're all so much more than our physical bodies, and that we always have a helping hand (of love) to help us out of any darkness and into the light. highly recommend this book.
