The truth is: Most women do not have satisfying sex lives. Slow Sex can change that.
Better sex is about one thing: better orgasm. This life-altering guide teaches men and women how to use the practice of Orgasmic Meditation - or OM - to slow down, connect emotionally, and achieve authentic female sexual satisfaction. The promise: In just fifteen minutes every woman can become orgasmic. And, with the right partner and the right technique, that orgasm could last and last!
For more than a decade, Nicole Daedone has been leading the "slow sex movement," which is devoted to the art and craft of the female orgasm. OM is the act of slowing down, tuning in, and experiencing a deeper spiritual and physical connection during sex. Slow Sex reveals the philosophy and techniques of OM and includes a step-by-step, ten-day OM starter program, as well as OM secrets for achieving ultimate satisfaction. It also includes exercises to help enhance readers' "regular" sex lives, such as Slow Oral for Her, Slow Oral for Him, and Slow Intercourse.
This book is the argument for daily intimacy, and for paying attention as the foundation of pleasure, all with a focus on the female experience.

While OM (orgasmic meditation) might very well be life changing if practiced, the procedure could be broken down into two pages of instructions. All the rest are stories and repetitive material meant to be inspirational, but just becomes tedious after the third and fourth time around. Perhaps the paper book or e-book might be the better choice in this case, so you can skip the redundancies and skim to the good parts, the simple practice procedures. And everyone should hear or read the sample experiences at the end. Women need to communicate the technique to her partner, men so they can surprise theirs. Those few pages might be worth the price of admission.
It's a decent book - but all of the information in the book is available on the author's website. The OM meditation is really a Tantric-style massage. It's a great concept and a very good practice for couples. Here's the catch - the author has been accused of being a bit cult-like, and the meet-up groups that follow her teachings are basically swinger meet-ups in which men approach women who they have never met and ask to "Om" with them.
My advice is to go to the website, learn the Om massage and practice it with your partner - it really is beneficial! If you are looking for a poly or swinger experience, join the groups and OM with complete strangers.
truth, facts, honest
It removed a lot of myths, opened eyes to what sex is really about and how it should be received.
talking about all areas of sex that nobody else wants to. Being honest about the facts and eliminating the fiction that we have been lead to believe. She has taught me to not be afraid to talk about sex openly.
More, Please !
Nicole is very discriptive and really knows her stuff. I learned alot of thinks, Id say its a marriage must have.
Slow Sex does what I hope a few books in my life will do. It changes the game in a very important area of my life that seems to be expanding into changing my whole life. It is a big deal. I have listened to it more than ten times. I am practicing its tenets. I am affecting other people who have not heard the book by doing what the book suggests I do.
My favorite character is sensation because it is the door I walked through to begin to understand how much is possible in being myself and being connected to other people.
She expresses an ownership of the intensity and depth of insight she is trying to share with you. She makes the journey in her writing more authentic.
Yes, I did listen to Slow Sex all in one sitting. Then, I listened to it again, and again.
I have shared the practices in this book with several friends. I have directed them to the website. A few of them have brought OM into their relationships. Those who have have blown the doors off the pleasure and connection with their partner. We now talk about the surprise journey they are on all the time. This is WOW! knowledge. This book leads you to the water. I strongly suggest you take a long drink.
Keep Growing Yourself!
I don't know why us MEN always seem to complicate things even when we don't try.
Men & Women will always be different. We think differently we act differently everything or bodies are different. So MEN stop trying to sex the women /w the women the way you think you should or the way you like. There two kinds of sex. The Science of Sex which all of us men know!!! i.e where to put it, and all the positions in the world, BUT!!! Women ALL WANT & Most don't know about is THE ART OF SEX!!!
Unleash her from the outside in! Not from the Inside out!!! **hint hint** Read This NOW
The results of the lessons the author was conveying.
OM - Orgasmic Meditation
A little long winded
It confirmed what I thought - most men have no idea how to please a woman sexually. If this book was more well known, there would be far less cheating/divorces in this world!
All couples should learn to OM. It is amazing!
I found the book disapointing and frustrating for the following reasons:
OVERSTATING THE CASE
-Like most authors who are inlove with their work I thought she overstated things big time
- The significance and relevance of sex in our lives is overstated bigtime as though sex and only sex matters - total rubish
- Love handly gets a mention. It seems that sex without love is OK, even good - what utter rubish. How can sex without love be fullfilling?
The book redefines the word "orgasm" to mean something other than climax. This is how she can claim that all women can be orgasmic.
This "Orgasmic Medidation" sounds mysterious and impressive. It is a big letdown to discover that it is little more than a man strokings a womans genitals for 15 minutes. She does a great job of talking it up though.
- There are large sections of the book that I was wondering - what the hell is she talking about?
- Many of the illustrations left me wondering as to their relevance and benefit.
I perservered throught it but I was glad when it came to an end.
There was one high point in the book and that was the section where she describes what men should know about women - that chapter was worth the listen
The physical book would be a better bet for this book. She constantly repeats herself and spends 90% of the book talking about how afraid everyone is of being sexual. If you aren't terrified of sex and your sexuality it becomes not only annoying but completely frustrating to be dragged through over and over.
She should have spent more time with the how to and why and a lot less time on philosophy and stories for people who are afraid of their own sexuality. The entire book can be summed up in one paragraph.
"It worked for me first time :)"
I have been curious about tantra and being present in life and in intimacy for decades. I've never actually had the courage to delve into it till now as I was warmly recommended this book by a colleague. I listened to it and love Nicole's loving, authentic beautiful voice. She invites us to be still, to be present, to fade out all the noise around us and really be with what is there.
So I did the first exercise with my beloved partner and IT WORKED!
I reached a new level of awareness (and arousal) that I didn't think was possible. And its so easy and actually if I think about it - natural.
I love what Nicole shares about this practice and work being what we intrinsically and naturally are. We are experiencers of sensation.
As she also explains, it is a way of being that returns us to a natural, relaxed and joyful state. I really love the work, love the joy and enthusiasm with which she reads and shares these jewels of wisdom with us.
"Very good concept"
I whole heartedly go with the concept of slow sex. It transforms relationships. This is basically a good book, however it labours the point a bit And spends a fair amount of time not getting to the point, sadly.there are some nuggets here, you just have to listen to the same stuff repeated a few times and a bit of padding to get to it.
"Too drawn out"
What was said could have been portrayed in less than an hour. Audio quality not too good either.
