Anyone serious about influencing others in a positive way needs this and other books written by Andy Stanley. This particular book was a quick read but full of insights into authentic leadership.
A must read for any leader in today's world. Very clear, concise and practical information on how to become a more effective and efficient leader.
Andy sticks to what he does best. He pulls from biblical principles to help create a picture for what that looks like practically. His narration skills help to make it feel more like a one on one experience.
Very simple yet elegant way of describing leadership. I think the title gives you an idea that these are new ideas, but they are age old truths that help the person desiring to be an effective leader put to the new perspective of Andy Stanely. Very well read by Lloyd James.
Good read or listen. I think he addressed important issues around leadership and did it well. I plan to listen to it again, as it is worth my time to really understand the content. What is next? Seems like there needs to be a follow up.
This is perhaps the best leadership book I have in my library. It addresses the convictions I strive to maintain and the skills I aspire to finesse at the same time with practical stories and valuable insight.
All five leadership principle were very good but number four on coaching was worth the investment of the book for me.
