Author and international speaker Mike Dooley illuminates exactly how to move beyond the law of attraction to the next level: manifestation.
In his most powerful and comprehensive work to date, Dooley reveals his master guide for following your heart and taking action on your dreams.
Manifesting Change explains the actual mechanics behind every dream, how you fit into the equation of “Reality Creation”, and which steps you can take that will lead you to the desired end results without worrying about the details. Dooley expands upon the universal mysteries of why you are here, who you really are, and all that you deserve.
The book includes easy-to-understand exercises, stories, and analogies, and reveals the extraordinarily unique concept of the “Matrix”, which clearly shows the flow of events that will, or will not, automatically trigger changes in your life based upon your thoughts, words, and actions.

“Having been a fan of the ‘big boys’ - Anthony Robbins, Wayne Dyer, Earl Nightingale, et al. - I came away with the realization that Dooley is the most literate and professorial of them all.” (Roger Yale, Los Angeles Entertainment Today)
“What he has to say about employment and money is particularly apt in our nation’s current state.” (Nancy Colasurdo, FoxBusiness.com)
“Finally, something completely new and masterful on the use of thoughts to create a better life. An absolute must read.” (Rev. Dr. R. Todd Michael, author of The Twelve Conditions of a Miracle)
Say something about yourself!
I listend to this twice in a row, so I can say I quite enjoyed it. It is in line with my personal beliefs, so if its not in line with yours you may need to take it with a grain of salt. In either case, there is good info here for us all.
Better and truer explanations of manifesting than the Secret, this is the real stuff.
I highly recommend for anyone wanting to re-connect (or maybe connect for the first time) with the power within them, and how to realistically access it.
I've been training spiritually for over 50 years through an evolving process of Catholicism, Scientology, and then for the last 20 years in the wide realm of self=help authors.
The latest introduction of the Law of Attraction and metaphysics rage with The Secret and many it's speakers like Joe Vitale etc; plus the likes of Wayne Dyer, Deepak Chopra and that category of enlightening speakers has taken self introspection and realization to another level.
But Mike Dooley paints the picture of life and it's meanings like none other. His means of explaining our thoughts and intentions, our rises and pitfalls creates such a vivid understanding of who we are, what we do and think and why.
His writings have definitely taken me to the next level!!
Whether you are new to Metaphysics and the Law of Attraction or have been a master of your destiny for a long time, Mike Dooley provides the guidance we all need at many times in our manifesting development.
I am a especially a fan of Dooley’s Manifesting Change audio book. While listening to Dooley himself read, the listener gets all of the emotion and motivation intended by the author. Unlike many audio books read by their author, Dooley has a voice that carries the emotion and power you would expect when having a live conversation with him. He conveys the excitement and amazement with each example he provides from the last 25 years of manifesting change in his own life.
Dooley explains things in a way so even the neophyte can understand the Law of Attraction and Manifesting Change. Believing is only the beginning. When you absolutely believe in the power we all possess, you will naturally move in the direction in which you need to make things happen.
Dooley further defines the “wicked hows”, first discussed in Infinite Possibilities. For those that are confused by the wicked hows, Dooley includes The Matrix and detailed instructions. See the flow of intent and visualizations and learn quickly what is the most effective way to partner with The Universe. Learn of the specific behavior needed to see your future, without delving in the behaviors that inhibit or get in the way of the needed change. The simple instructions guide even the most novice of metaphysicians through the simple steps and behaviors needed for each of us to achieve to have, be or do, taking each of us to our most desired end result. All of this, and the occasional, and so familiar “Notes from the Universe”.
Happy Manifestations. “It couldn’t be easier.”
Yes, I would listen again because I find books like Manifesting Change by listing several times that I will get something out of them every time I read/listen to them.
Jack Canfield's Key to Living the Law of Attraction: A Simple Guide to Creating the Life of Your Dreams because the book puts it into simple terms. Giving you step by step instructions. Like Manifesting Change, Mike puts it into simple terms and doesn't leave out anything. Easy to follow instructions that work.
He actually defines all aspects of how to truly manifest. Manifesting Change is an eye-opener, and will help you peer over the sunglasses of beliefs and see new possibilities. In addition, It is nice hearing it in his own voice instead of just reading it. I like listening to it in the car, or even listen while I read the book. I feel it makes it sink in more and I really think this is one of the best Law of Attraction books I have read.
This book revealed several aspects of Law of Attraction theory and I love how he simplifies it with the Matrix. In addition, this book can filled in several blanks and connected many dots. I was also delighted to find his teachings and spiritual philosophies very similar to those of Neville Goddard's, better known as just Neville, was one of the quietly dramatic and supremely influential teachers in the New Thought field for many years. He thought that the power of your own wonderful human imagination is God, within you, and we can all use this infinite power to make changes in our lives. Mike makes sure "we're all on the same page" with regards to the "truth" about man, the universe and our "spiritual" and eternal nature.
Specifically, I find that many people’s issues are being stumped on and gone over in this book. Mike goes over exactly how to define and build the life of their dreams, and even finding what that means to them. Simply telling someone to following their "life purpose" as it does in many other Law of Attraction books, it can be quite over whelming for people to grasp that don’t have a plan in place for their life purpose and do even have a clue to what that is, which I find is not necessary to manifest what you want. This can distract people and cause them to drift from this way of thinking all together. Mr. Dooley takes all the pressure off you by simply stating, "Manifesting change could not possibly be any easier than defining what you want in terms of its end result, and then simply and physically moving in its general direction." Dooley goes on to explain that we get caught up in specifics--the "cursed hows"--and that by becoming more general (focusing on "happiness" or "joy" or "abundance") and moving in that general direction ("turning over stones" and being available), we then allow The Universe/God/Divine to take care of the "hows" and thereby end up at our requested destination.Among other things, I found great value in the way Mike explains everything logically with very clear examples and exercises. I was also surprised and happy to learn of several common mistakes that I've been making with my "Law of Attraction exercises". Interesting points of discussion include:• "The GPS Mapquest" metaphor• Focusing on the end destination/result desired• Forgetting about the dreaded "Hows"• Deductive reasoning• Taking action towards your goals...even wrong ones• Why "bad" or unexpected tragedies happen to good peopleAfter studying tons of LOA methods and systems over the past years, Mike was presenting some very solid new ideas as well as discussing old ideas that work, that don't work, and why. This is "hands down" the BEST system for Law of Attraction users that I've ever seen and heard. Many ask me does it work? I tell them just fallow me around and see, but really it is simple you focus on something as though you already have it and it is happening, then see what you would do with it. I like how Mike cites numerous examples as well, including many of his own experiences. I am 100% convinced, that this works and have proof to show that it does and many people seeing it in action in my life. I guess I could best sum the theory up for non-believers by quoting a wise sage: "When you pray, move your feet."I recommend this system and Mike's "TUT" materials to all students of metaphysics, Law of Attraction, and manifestation. Great job Mike…
The first 20 audiobook chapters were really hard to listen to. The author spent a great deal of time trying to convince the listeners of the fallacy of organized religion and comes off preachy and not very passionate. If you can get past this rant against religion.. the rest of the book is really good and his reading performance even gets better. It's worth the money and there are lots of jewels in the book.
His matrix explanation really helped me.
His performance progressively gets better when he is speaking about "Manifesting Change"
I wish he would have left the preaching to 'religion' and just taught the valuable principles that he expounds on. You can't spend so much time speaking against something when you teach not to focus on things negatively and believe it would be received positively.
I've read, studied and listened to a lot of work on this topic. For me, this one had a way of stating it that my brain could grasp and interpret to really take steps toward changing my life. Thank you Mike!
A really good book about manifesting change. Mike has a light and happy approach that I often miss in these kinds of books. Love it!
I teach WordPress web design online, focusing on the *design* part - and fun:) I love learning new concepts, hence all these audiobooks;)
While this book is very well narrated, and the stories are well told, I couldn't help thinking "it sounds like he's just pulling all this out of thin air". There's little critical thought.
Additionally, it's superficial. I'm not interested in another Osho talking about all his expensive cars and whether the author should get a Ferrari or not. I'm not jealous, I simply just don't care.
Research more. Tell me more than i already know.
This is a WEIRD book. The author seems to have invented a world and then explained how our world is that world with the assumptions that his creative thoughts are physical laws. That said, whether or not it is true might not actually matter. You’d be a LOT happier if you believed everything this guy says.
Some things said here:
-Bad things don’t happen
-Reincarnation is decided by you and real; life is eternal
-All things are ‘god’ (or all people at least)
My advice: If you are like me and never had read/studied ‘Metaphysics’ or…whatever this is (and regularly use your brain, logic and science)…strain yourself through the first hour or so (where it sounds like a degrading joke or some kind of cult sermon)…but then keep listening.
The concepts on what your perspective should be IS Positive. Can you choose to believe something that isn’t true for the relief and joy it would imply? If you can keep your knowing and your feeling (the perception from your subconscious) separate, maybe you can.
Some other things said here:
-Accept responsibility for your actions
-Think happy thoughts and do your best
-Be thoughtful but have your best interests in mind too
-spread love and joy
You see where I am coming from? In all honesty, it doesn’t REALLY matter if you believe we are aliens or whatever or not if you can get into the mindset the author suggests.
Btw, scientists- he dumps on us quite a bit; he’s just jealous though. There is still a positive message in there even though he can’t appreciate us.
"Taking Law of Attraction to a much deeper level"
Deep, enlightening, powerful
He read his own words with passion and meaning. Slowly and clearly so easy to taking in the deep, insightful material.
No. It is quite heavy in places, so time out to absorb the material was important.
This book is a must read for people ready to totally embrace the Law of Attraction to change their lives as it goes beyond current teachings to a much deeper understanding.
But it is probably not good for someone new to the whole subject as it goes way beyond common thinking. Loved it!
I loved the Matrix, it simplifies putting the law into effective practice, and the book answered a lot of questions not addressed by books I've read previously.
That said, it was very deep and I am ready for something lighter now.
A really inspiring book on the principles of LOA which is not frighten to tackle the awkward questions. It really does make it all seem so easy. But only time will tell if it turns out that way. For now, I was content that it just made me smile a lot.
"One of the best!"
One of the best books that can ever read in this genre (or even better - listen!)
Literally, read it. Now.
I'd definitely recommend - it provides a fantastic grounding in understanding the law of attraction in an entertaining way.
Mike Dooley is a brilliant speaker and so easy to listen to.
This book is not for newbies to LOA, he has some out there ideas but great concepts. This book opens your mind to other possibilities.
He does read it as if he is an excitable little dog constantly on amphetamines
"great inspiring book"
I found out about Mike Dooley on the movie The Secret - I liked his straight forward ideas and thought would have a go at his book - I love it more because it's him narrating it - and he does as if he is having a conversation with you - like the advice and the Matrix is the best bit (although it isn't included, I downloaded for free of the internet)
