Loveability is a meditation on love. It addresses the most important thing you will ever learn. All the happiness, health, and abundance you experience in life comes from your ability to love and be loved. This ability is innate, not acquired. Robert Holden is the creator of a unique program on love called Loveability, which he teaches worldwide. He has helped thousands of people to transform their experience of love. “Love is the real work of your life,” says Robert. “As you release the blocks to love you flourish even more in your relationships, work, and life.”
In Loveability, Robert weaves a beautiful mix of timeless principles and helpful practices about the nature of true love. With great intimacy and warmth, he shares stories, conversations, meditations, and poetry that have inspired him in his personal inquiry on love.

Just a small town girl, living in a not so lonely world anymore (: My journey to peace within this gypsy soul inside this box shaped world.
As I was saying, Simply Life Changing, if not THE answer I've searching for my entire life. I have purchased a copy of this book for each person in my family and have demanded we begin a family book club! I'm uncertain if THIS book being THE answer for me in learning how to be at peace in a not so peaceful world, is THIS book alone, or if this book really just solidified the path I took but it is AMAZING! I listen to audio books as much as possible which isn't as much as I would like but if I didn't have audible in my life, I'd miss all the amazing books packed full of knowledge and adventure (:
I LOVED how the book is read by Robert Holden, Ph.D. himself, mostly, probably because of his British accent (: But mostly, I really enjoyed how he explains step by step what loving your self or self love or Lovability really is and how to practice it. It isn't just relatable stories and wisdom, it's steps you can begin implementing within only a few pages.
This is my first, but will not be my last!
We must begin to honor our Soul's without self judgement.
the secret to life is to speak life. I am so grateful for where I am today. Many live their entire lives never reaching the peace on earth that I have found. Yes, it all comes down to loving your self at the most basic level. Even if you are a christian. Do you Love God? Do you believe we are made of God? Then why can't you love yourself? Why can't you love the creation of God, that is you. And all things created? Everything that exists today, exists because God Created it or the it that has the same ability to create. It all comes back to Love. If like attracts like, then why wouldn't you remain in Love, always?
He spends 3/4 of the book going on about God and his family. The part where he stays away from the spiritual is great but having to go through all the rest for so little was a big waste of time.
Loveability was full of cliches and too idealistic. The book would of been better if it focussed on the spiritual rather than philosophy and prescriptive advice.
The book would of been more enjoyable if it was grounded on a level that a person could relate to in the 'here and now’.
Robert’s performance was too perfect - sounded like a saint. His standards are unreachable.
Irritation - nobody can live up to such idealistic standards.
"life transforming book"
this book will transform your life. It did that to me and I am so grateful to Robert Holden that finally someone is explaining what is really love. How important it is to love yourself. I am 43 years old and only now I realise it was my ego and not my true self who has feared love for so long. Really a recommendation for all who suffers with low self image, for all cancer patients, for all depressed people.
"Just lovely! x"
Loveability is a book which had me hooked from the moment I started listening. This book has a candid and direct approach to love, and is narrated openly and truthfully by Holden who gives lots of useful advice on how to love myself and others from a place of authenticity. Holden's affirmations "I am loveable" and one I adapted from the book was "I forgive myself" are simple but incredibly affective in helping shift any mindset towards love and gratitude. Just lovely, thank you! x
"Good book ...."
recommending to others... such a great book regarding contemporary love. Analysing the relationship between love and compassion. Yes a future where love is integrated into all aspects of life and living.
"Love is all there is"
l was enthralled by Robert Holden's grasp and presentation of love and its many ways.
I had no idea what this was about, I just searched for 'love' in Audible. It's opened my eyes to so much more reading and thinking and a new way of living. I loved this so much I'm going to buy the paperback as well so I can underline all the best bits to mediate on.
"Some nice lessons but too much spiritual stuff."
I enjoyed some elements of the book but all the god and spirit stuff was superfluous.
Made this more practical and accessible to atheists as well as theists. The book assumes the listener to have a belief in some sort of higher power.
It was pleasant enough. Story is not an appropriate category for non-fiction and one which I would prefer Audible to make optional.
I am glad I listened to it but I spent a lot of time cringing and getting irritated by all the god stuff.
