The NLP processes are good and I have used them quite a bit, but this audio version simply got me motivated to buy other books. I don't use the audio as much as the books I bought, since I find it is really necessary to have the NLP processes written out to use them effectively. I found I wasn't able to process as fast as the audio goes through them. I did transcribe some of the processes and I have used them that way.
I was skeptical when I first began to listen to this book but it soon took me by surprise with the ready and concise steps delivered without any coy restraint on how to change your perspective by going through the mental exercises for the listener to try.
Before I knew it I was taking notes, going back and listening again. The techniques DO work and they ARE simple. They author is a genius who was blessed with the ability to relate his concepts without fluff or pomp. Well delivered by the narrator. I've heard the author speak and he's quite charismatic but the narrator did an excellent job of reading the book for him. Have already recommended it to family, which takes a lot of nerve, so the techniques must work!
Happy to see the Richard Bandler is making NLP easier to understand , and I think this is first book that he has written this type .
I was a fan of Bandler once and I expected yet another brilliant and humourous lecture on whatever...instead there's a most boring summary of previous concepts and knowledge, read in the most uninteresting manner by a follower...Crappy work. Not worth paying 1$...
Is it just me or does the narrator's mock-cheerful voice make this audiobook hard to listen to right from the get-go? The way he swaggers through a description of rape and trauma in his compassionless Kasey Kasem voice took me out of the book completely. I really wanted this to be good. I did. But I don't feel the narrator does the author justice at ALL. Please consider that my review is based on the insincere impression the narrator has left on me and the fact that his voice rendered me unable to actually access the content of Bandler's work. I just wish I'd bought the actual book instead because I'm sure it's really very good.
I am 26 year old factory worker with a lot of time on my hands, looking to improve myself.
This is 20 + years of collecting data on behavior patterns. Richard bandler will guide you through NLP.

worth while, serious book, takes time to practice.good luck
RPG, history and movie fan
I would recommend the book to a friend, but probably not this audiobook. Lists that are essential for key steps are not provided, diluting the helpfulness.
There isn't really a scene in the book. But there are helpful steps to deal with phobias and mindsets.
I will try to return this book, as the audiobook does not provide all the content from the printed book, and this is a major disadvantage and dis-service to the listeners.
If you want to take life by the lapels and take absolute control of your future then study the heck out this book and more importantly, do the exercises.
Getting over fears and phobias as well as creating unstoppable resolve for taking on new productive habits.
No, but he does an OK job as narrator.
I am currently study NLP and purchased the written copy. Then I found it in audio form and was thrilled - I got through the book so quickly and have the ability to make special places in the written book.
Really informative and motivating. Nicely Narrated by Mark
