Fun Games For You And The Whole Family!

What does Joshua Mackey bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I don't have a lot of time, so audio books help me when I'm looking to get some "reading" in when i'm busy with a mindless task.

Any additional comments?

Kids today spend too much time on their Ipads, Tablets, Computers, and televisions. Even though these devices were made to bring people together and connect them across vast distances, they only make us more distant from the people that should matter most.

Luckily, guides like these exist to bring back some of the family magic from back when we were kids.

You're probably going to need to force your kids to play with you the first time, but the games in this book are so good that they'll be asking you for a rematch!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would recommend this to all of my friends. There are games that are appropriate for everyone. My family has game night once a month, and this book gave us some great games to add to our list. We also played a few of the drinking games with some friends, and they were hilarious.

I have, and this book was the same: a great performance with an even and engaging tone and no mistakes.

What’s an idea from the book that you will remember?

The game "Never Have I Ever"! This was the greatest party game ever.

Games by Ace McCloud contains a variety of games for all ages, including children and adults. There is a decent number of classic kids games in here as well as fun drinking games for adults. Also contains information board games. Can't go wrong with this book, you'll never be bored!

No characters as this is a nonfiction book, but I especially liked the children's games as I am always active in church and need games that kids can play.

What about Joshua Mackey’s performance did you like?

Mr. Mackey always puts forth a great performance. He makes the instructions for games easy to listen to and understand.

What insight do you think you’ll apply from Games: 101 Fun Games to Play with Friends, Family & Children?

I will definatley use many of the games at showers, parties and at church for the kids. I will also be using them for my daughters backyard wedding. There are so many games from which to choose from toddlers and young children all they way to things to do with the family like camping and fishing.

This book suggests just about anything you can think of to play games and special activities in order for family and friends to have fun. There is a wide variety of games exhibited with easy instructions on how to play them. There is even a chapter on how to understand common field games like football, baseball, soccer and more. It gives suggestions on family outings and things like backyard movie night. This little audio book packs so much into it, it is hard to choose. There are even adult drinking games, which should be played responsibly.

Joshua Mackey has done a great job in several audiobooks I have purchased previously, and this one is no exception.

It's refreshing to find a book that encourages playing games away from a video screen. This book has excellent ideas for passing time and building relationships through play, something that is easy to neglect as adults. Plus, late summer is the perfect time to put some of these games into action now that the kids are bored and school hasn't started quite yet. Whip out a couple of these games and get ready for time to fly!

Great games for fun times with family and friends!

This audio is filled with all sorts of great games! I had a lot of fun with my family playing the children friendly ones such as the magic cup and freeze dance.Hot potato was also another fun one that everyone enjoyed. There where some great adult games in here as well along with plenty of ideas for modifying existing games to something new and exciting. Audio was at a great price, well narrated and the enjoyment you will get from this is well worth it! Highly recommended!

Bond with family and friends with this game book

I purchased this games book as a means of getting my family involved in bonding rather than the TV. Like most families these days, our attention was focused elsewhere instead of building bonds. I have to say this book has done wonders and the kids event beg for us to play some of the games in it. The book offers an endless amount of games for all ages. We can't wait to take this on vacations and holidays to share it with the entire family.

I really enjoy listening to Joshua Mackey read Games: 101 Fun Games to Play with Friends, Family and Children. He is an outstanding narrator, with a voice for radio and reading books such as these. He always keeps my attention and never has be bored. I follow directions better by listening rather then reading instructions. I am very pleased to have such a great game book on audio.

I really love this book with 101 games! This book is filled with fun for children and adults. Many of these games are games you can play with what you have in your own home. There is no need to go out and buy anything!

The family games included in this book are just perfect for the holidays or anytime when families gather together; you'll be sure to keep the room entertained for a good amount of fun times.

This book also includes some very awesome drinking games that I can’t wait to try out with my friends this weekend.

This book is sure to bring hours of fun for everyone involved! A must have for the coffee table.

With this book, I have no excuse for for boredom and I can non longer avoid games that I have forgotten how to play. I was taken back to my childhood as the basic games were described, games like tag, hide-and-seek, and I spy. They even included "Marco" "Polo" in the fun!

This is a compendium of almost every western game ever invented, including board games, card games, parlor games, outdoor games, water games and even drinking games! (Hmmm, did they include cops and robbers?)
