    It is simple but not easy to place yourself at the viewer seat, but once you can experience this, you'll see more and easier alternatives for any situation / problem.

    "This Book is For Everyone Who Wants to Enjoy Their Life"

    Whether you're dealing with acute stress, chronic pain, or simply feel like time is passing by so quickly, this book helps you to slow down and become more aware of your life and the people around you. Personally, it has helped me with my meditation by reminding me that being mindful is simple but not easy and that every emotion and sensation is not to be suppressed. I just finished the audible and will be playing it from the beginning again. I love his other book as well which I'm reading over and over again "Wherever You Go There You Are". This is your time and your life.

    "Inspiring book on living mindfully "

    Kabat-Zinn states at the end of the book that meditation is just as important as eating to your overall wellness. Practical practices for living mindfully. Very much enjoyed this book. Thx JKZ.

    "Doesn't come with the meditation audio!"

    Buy the book instead - don't waste your money on an incomplete product. The entire book talks about this powerful 8-week mindfulness program designed by Kabat-Zinn, and the wonderful clinic where people come to practice. The attendees are given audio recordings, which they use to meditate 45-60 minutes/day for 6 days a week for 8 weeks. In fact, Kabat-Zinn says in this very audiobook recording - 'refer to such and such meditation on CDs 2 and 4'.

    Buyer beware - this audiobook purchase does NOT come with the all-important guided meditation audio. Clearly, it's supposed to. The entire book is designed around the 8-week program. But somehow, the production of the audiobook failed to include the heart and soul of this whole thing. Very disappointing. I wish I had known! I would have just bought the book.

    "Excellent!"

    Love that Jon Kabat - Zinn narrated this himself!
    Jon's work in mindfulness is incredible and extremely powerful.
    This book is great for beginners and those that would like a greater understanding of mindfulness.
    I highly recommend it!

    "it's really great. Worked well, but it is abridged"

    I thought it would be longer! The book is very long. This version left out a lot, including all of the anecdotes and success stories.

    It went beyond my expectations JKZ is not only narrating he transfers the essence of his work and experience.

    "Sound Science & Profound Ageless Principles"

    This is an audio look I will lister to again and again. The author does a masterful job of conveying Eastern insights so they are accessible to my Western mind.

    I an going to buy the paper book version so I can highlight and tate written notes.
