The harder we try to change, the deeper in the hole we get. We find a new partner but have the same old fights. We strive for an ever bigger paycheck but end up broke at a higher income bracket. This is what happens when the basic principle of life - the law of emergence - is disrupted, stopping you from knowing that you are the perfect you. There is not a part of you from beginning to end that isn't exactly what you should be.
Emergence provides the foundation to reengage with this ancient principle. In this seven-stage framework, spiritual life coach Derek Rydall shows that we aren't lacking anything; everything we need to fulfill our full potential is already inside us. Backed by an ancient truth that has largely been lost, Rydall changes the conversation around how to achieve your potential by showing you how to activate the genius already in you and empower your purpose in life.

"A profound guide to enlightenment, Emergence is a beautiful reminder that we are not broken." (Mark Porteous, author of Maximizing Your Human Experience)
cry of sonship
He explained how he grew in the stages of emergance
Remember who you are at your core and that that person is complete and needs to come forth
This book bridges the gap between trying to be enough to excepting and allowing the real you to come forth
Yes, and again and again... This book changes your mood to positive. Rydell just keeps it coming it's a page turner edge of your seat listening book.
The encouragement just keeps coming. Just when you thought you heard the most powerful self awakening line he punches you with another one and another one. I listen to this book on my way to work, while waiting anywhere. Every little opportunity I get I am listening and sharing my experience with others.
When he talks about weeds growing in your lawn as and example of trouble or bad things happening in your life. He says its not abnormal that trouble or problems exist its a part of life and just like you maintain your lawn by pulling up weeds is the same thing you do in life with problems and unexpected things that don't belong.
Know matter how much an oak tree wishes its acorns will grow to be apple trees they will never be an apple tree because they were created to be an oak tree.
I definitely have to read this book a few more times before I master it but I am progressing with the information I have heard thus far. AWESOMENESS, I love this book.
I love Derek's work and am so glad to see an audiobook by Derek embodying his diverse synthesis.
The author's voice is nice and has enthusiasm for telling his story.
He seems to have a passion for sharing this information.
No! Like most self-help books you need to take it in slowly to let the information sink in. And you should always go back and re-read it in case you missed something important the first time around!
I liked the book, it is very much yet another, "Law of Attraction," book - it's just Derek Rydall's version of interpreting it. I don't see anything wrong with other authors taking the Law of Attraction technique and putting into their own words. The Law of Attraction is very powerful and effective - if you know what you are doing! I had previously used a lot of the techniques/exercises that the author suggests in the book, but I am also a professional clinical hypnotist and have been practicing/teaching "Hypnosis and the Law of Attraction" for years. In my practice I am often asked what books I recommend to help people learn to use the Law of Attraction, and although I have read many books on the Law of Attraction, I don't recommend very many.
I do recommend this book if you are working to co-create your life path via the Law of Attraction and have read a lot of books on the subject that just didn't make sense to you. It is a practical workbook.
I mostly listened to this while driving. It was great. Derek did an awesome job of narration. I never felt like falling asleep! There are a few excersise that I couldn't fully apply because I was behind the wheel, but the bookmark button saved them all for me. So glad I picked this one I was struggling.
The audio books I get tend to be either 1) scifi or 2) things for my husband and me to listen to on long road trips--humor or history
I’ve read a lot of self-help books over the past year, and this one just didn’t speak to me as strongly as many of the other ones. To be sure, there are some good exercises in here, and some great words of wisdom, but I felt they were fewer than in other books. Still, if you are new to the genre, this is not a bad place to start.
[I listened to this as an audio book read by the author. He has a good speaking voice and does a fine job narrating.]
"it's all in there, you just have to find it!"
this is an interesting book but waffles a bit. I would have preferred more tips that I could implement in my life to get me started. I'm sure it's all in there but I'll have to read it again!
"A truly inspiring book"
Absolutely loved this book, I've bought the hard copy too so I can underline and highlight key points and keep referring back. I love Derek's emergence theory, I highly recommend this book to anyone who's looking for more, who's frustrated in trying and failing to get to the next level. It's narrated by Derek too and is great to listen to.
