Very basic

There's little or nothing here that will be in any sense new to someone who has more than basic knowledge of the significant of diet, exercise and good sleep habits for a healthy life.

The overall tone is 'how to avoid dying'. The author has a very rare genetic disposition to cancer so this is not surprising but its message is not in any way leavened by reflection on the sheer joy of living

Also, so many of the tips are very similar - you begin to wonder if you hadn't already heard them twenty chapters earlier

Inspiring and Great Advice

Compelling story with precise & actionable advice from the author. Sorry, that he had to deal with such a rare condition, but he has made the best of it.

Good overview for a healthy life.

Basics and research examples to back up what factors are important for a vital, healthy life and action steps to make them happen. Great summary for those who want to know where to start or remind themselves where to get back on track.

Simply but Powerful

Im a life coach and pretty good at self motivation. Lately been struggling to get back to workouts. Honestly this book in very short time motivated me to get back to fetness. It reminded lots of concepts I studied in details, it was like awesome summary.

This book may have saved my life!

this book is filled with things that your mother would have told you. It serves as a very good reminder for all of the great things that you should be doing. I definitely recommend this book to anyone that's looking to improve their health and live longer.

A story of someone who made a life change

Would you try another book from Tom Rath and/or Tom Rath?

Probably not. I felt he had to say what he needed here and anything else would just be repeating with different words.
