Life saving info

As far as information provided, it is very motivational and enlightening. So much advice, that can be taken to the extreme. Anyway, all the information in this book is now common wisdom and still sounds very current, considering today’s speed of life.
The delivery could have been vastly improved upon. But the information contained is so valuable, it saves the day.

lifestyle not strategy

This book is well researched and well presented. It offers a way of living for better health. It has suggestions rather than strict rules. I liked it and have put some of the tips to work.

4 Hour Nag

I really didn't learn much from this book, and so it came across and somebody nagging me to do things that we all pretty much know are important. So in comparison to books like Spark, this one was kind of a dud. I will say that the one thing I have tried to follow from the book is a little more sleep.

A Must read if you have health problems

Would you listen to Eat Move Sleep again? Why?

Yes. There is a lot of useful information that bears listening to more than once to get the information more ingrained.

What other book might you compare Eat Move Sleep to and why?

none that I can think of as relevant.

What does Tom Rath bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Emphasis on life engaging parts. Parts that are more poignant to him, you can hear it in his voice.

What’s an idea from the book that you will remember?

Skipping a good night's sleep is not a badge of honor, its a badge of non-sense. A good night's sleep needs to be a priority.

Any additional comments?

After reading this book, and the authors own heatlh problems he's faced with, I realize how trivial my health issues are!

You get one body, one life...it all matters

Tom Rath communicate a powerful message for all who read this book. He uses uncomplicated language and delivers a sophisticated message that, quite frankly stop you in your tracks, take stock of the careless, wasted moments in life, and move towards an authentic I expression of eating, moving and sleeping. (Coz we all know how we choose shortcuts but tell ourselves & others that we rely are doing good things...most of the time).
Well, thank you Tom for waking me up from my own stupor of rationalisation! Every day counts, every mouthful of food matters and each hour of sleep is important. Man, is that message clear.
GET THIS BOOK...if you want to live longer!

Good Health - One Bite, One Step and One Night Z's

Just finished Tom's exceptional book " Eat Move Sleep.
I started ("Ear Reading") listening on Audible 3 or 4 times, coming back to it every month or so.
I am now weeks away from 60 and have been able to maintain a healthy weight pretty much my whole life. Over this past Winter I gained about 20 lbs and my first (laptop supporting) belly.
My Nephew just visited me an to my surprise, a third of him was missing...
He inspired me. I finished the book and my only words of wisdom to you.
Read - Listen to the last 3-4 chapters First. I'm now reading it again and again till those 20 lbs are a thing of the past.
A Good Read and Life Altering Book.
