She gives it more personal feel. It is as though the author was talking directly to me and therefore I am more likely to remember all the great advice given.

As a Realtor we do this everyday with people but I remember being a first time buyer and it was overwhelming. This book makes it easy to understand and simplifies things.
Providing a step by step plan makes it easy and takes the unknowns out of the process.

Both versions are equally effective. I can listen to the audio book when I'm driving, or when I'm cooking, or doing my household chores. I can use the printed version to highlight important notes, tips and reminders.
I love the author giving her own personal experiences on how they purchased their very first home, and the lessons learned with her clients. I also admire her parents for teaching them to save at a very young age.
Yes, absolutely! She speaks very clearly and I love the tone of her voice.

The author shared how she and her family saved money by taking frugal vacations to visit great sites in California, such as Yosemite and the Highway 49 Gold Rush town areas.
I've talked to co-workers about how easy it is to listen to this book and act on the solid advice given.
Would recommend this audio book for renters, such as young couples starting out and wanting to buy their first home.
If you're looking for an elementary school level overview of the process its good, but book doesn't contain many tips or resources, so can't say that if recommend it to friends or read it again
I found this book to be void of any good advice, or if it does contain good advice is it buried under mountains of drivel. This book may be a good choice if someone has literally zero knowledge of home buying, but if one has even a basic understanding of the home buying process and wants to truly understand the details this book is not for you.
The narrator has a good voice and reading skills, and is not the problem with this book.
