The most important journey any woman can take is the one into becoming her true self through the love of God. It’s a beautiful paradox: The more God’s you become, the more yourself you become - the woman he had in mind when he thought of you before the creation of the world.

"Finally a book I can relate to!!"
What did you love best about Becoming Myself?

How completely honest Stasi Eldredge is in this book, I thought I was the only one that felt the things that I feel, hang ups and all....I have never been able to relate so much to an author. Thank you Stasi!! What a blessing this book has been to my Christian woman walk :-)

What other book might you compare Becoming Myself to and why?

    No comparison :-)

    Which scene was your favorite?

The entire book had me realizing what and why I am struggling in various areas.

What insight do you think you’ll apply from Becoming Myself?

Life changing!!! - the right way .... Even the areas I'm not strong enough to do on my own, I love you Jesus!!! Thank you

    Any additional comments?

Thank you Stasi Eldredge!! What a beautiful woman of God you are, through and through! Truly Spirit filled!!!

    Story
"A must-read for every woman of every race and age"
Would you consider the audio edition of Becoming Myself to be better than the print version?

The beautiful thing about listening to author narrated books is that the reader - or listener, rather - gets to hear the significance behind every punctuation mark and line spacing. For that reason, I prefer to listen rather than read to "Becoming Myself," but those who read the book will finish it pleased.

What did you like best about this story?

This is not your ho-hum Christian book for women. No, Stasi gets very real with us as she tackles topics such as issues with our mothers, weight problems, friendships with other women (or the lack thereof), and more.

Which character – as performed by Stasi Eldredge – was your favorite?

    N/A

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I was particularly moved by both "Our Mothers, Ourselves" chapters, "The Company of Women," and "Becoming Our True Name."

    Any additional comments?

This book has done more for me as a woman - push all the hats I wear aside - than any other book I have read to date (next to the bible, of course). By zoning in on me as a woman, I am more efficient in my roles as wife, mother, friend, sister, daughter, and career girl. This book has truly been my tall glass of water in the dry heat of the summer season of my life. Now, I can confidently bask in the glow of who I am in the light of the Son's shine.
