Yes. The author narrarates the book himself and goes off script throughout the reading so you would miss a lot of points if you just read the printed version. The book does have lots of pictures that show what he is talking about and QR codes that link to videos that demonstrate lean improvements. Both are key to beginning your lean journey on the right foot.
Paul's enthusiasm is contagious and I think I caught it.
Paul is a character.
How to be lean, not just do lean.
Paul (and crew) know how to make it so simple to be lean.
ALL OF IT. Paul is great at adding a little humor to Lean, making it so fun to read and made me want to start cutting out the waste in my life ASAP.
You don't have to make
I haven't felt so inspired in such a long time. I can't wait to read (listen on Audible) more of Paul's books--if he comes out with more!!
This book sums up lean and makes it simple and easy to understand and follow it! This should be your first stop to your lean journey!! Plus the narrators voice is so soothing!!
Yes! It is the Lean method for getting through books!
Paul explains it in a way that anyone can do it, its just common sense and so easy.
Making the environment clean reveals abnormalities.
realizing that I can get as much done in 24 hours as I used to get done in 48 hours
The Elegant Solution
You can tell that it really works.
Makes you realize that just because your running around doesn't mean your getting a lot done.
Yes, more info the more times you read it.
No, it was all good
A Must Listen
Keep it simple !!
Paul. He's been there and done it and has created a long lasting culture !!
Engaging and passionate about LEAN !!
None, this one is one of a kind!
Fabulous book!! Implementing lean left and right now!
This book does a great job of summing up lean principles and delivering them in an easy to grasp manner. Love the pictures! The best thing about this book is that is accessible to anybody whether you're an executive or an elementary student.
Greetings. My brother introduced me to Audible in 2011. Since, nothing but enjoyment. Hopefully my reviews are very useful to you. Enjoy!
No. The author voice becomes a little annoying after a bit with his comical tone he presents through most of the book. As the book professes and the author provides more substance he shifts to a somewhat more serious tone.
The structure the author/narrator creates regarding cost savings.
A lot. Cost savings and looking for easier inexpensive ways to complete task rather at hoe or at work. For those that don't know the technical jargon of LEAN he makes it very easy to understand for all.
Upbeat book worth giving a listen.
"Written and performed with great enthousiasm !"
The book has some valuable tips on extreme lean, and the writer has lean in the heart. The extensive website with the enormous amount of short and nice self-made videos is a good adition to the book.
Paul is a very inspiring person and his team helped me get a hardcopy of the book, so these people too did a great job. Great team @ FastCap :-)
I like the enthousiasm and humour of the writer, it makes the book a very enjoyable read/listen.
The fact that the book is only around 2 hours makes it a great listen when driving between home and the office. Many books are just too long to stay focused over several sessions.
I listened to it several times and I am sure I will get to it later when I am in the mood for a good companion on the road.
After listening to the audiobook, I ended up ordering the hardcopy (which I could not order through Amazon, my favorite webshop).
Thanks Michelle for my book !!
