Based on seven years of ground-breaking research and hundreds of interviews, I Thought It Was Just Me shines a long-overdue light on an important truth: Our imperfections are what connect us to each other and to our humanity. Our vulnerabilities are not weaknesses; they are powerful reminders to keep our hearts and minds open to the reality that we're all in this together.

Our gut is almost as important to us as our brain, yet we know very little about how it works. Gut: The Inside Story is an entertaining, informative tour of the digestive system from the moment we raise a tasty morsel to our lips until the moment our body surrenders the remnants to the toilet bowl. No topic is too lowly for the author's wonder and admiration, from the careful choreography of breaking wind to the precise internal communication required for a cleansing vomit.

In Scientific Secrets for a Powerful Memory, you’ll explore the real research on how memory functions - and then apply these findings to help you make better use of the memory abilities you have.

Well Presented and Informative
Would you listen to The Science of Natural Healing again? Why?
As a health educator I am always interested in medical information and though there was not a lot of new information for me, I was not disappointed in the content. The presenter is very methodical in her presentation and it is easy to understand her concepts. I do get a little weary of the New Age influence in current medical trends, and this was heavy on that, but it is the day we live in and people are certainly entitled to their own religious beliefs.

Very detailed and informative course!
Would you consider the audio edition of The Science of Natural Healing to be better than the print version?
You will get the audio edition which I prefer, because I was able to listen during my 1-1/2 hour commute to and from work every day. Any notes that I wanted to look up later could be found in the transcript PDF provided, so you get the best of both worlds. I really enjoyed this course and found the lecturer, Dr. Guarneri, very engaging and compassionate.

All good except for...
I think most of the advice is really good for each of our bodies but we must be careful with some of it. If all the humans in the planet would eat sock eyed salmon, we would destroy the species. And also, if people from the northern part of the globe start eating avocados or fruits which don’t grow in the north, it would cause a big problem with emissions.

As good as I hoped, and then some
Natural Healing is a subject very dear to me, so of course I've devoured many books on the subject, but am very willing to keep getting the same material from different sources in hopes that I will eventually get it and shift my lifestyle to more healthy directions.
The first lecture, I think Dr. Guarneri was establishing her credentials (which are more excellent than all my other sources) and summarizing what the course is about. I was anxious to get to the "meat" so was frustrated that she wasn't getting right to it. Still, I'm glad she started out explaining her own history. Also, in the first lecture (only about 30 min each) she seemed to pause a lot at the end of a statement. That drove me nuts and I vowed to set the speed on my iPod up a notch when I transferred the lectures to it. However, by the time I was listening to the 2nd lecture, either she wasn't doing that as much, or I had gotten used to it, so I never changed the speed. I think it helps me to absorb what is being said better anyway.
For the first third or half of the lectures, I was hearing mostly familiar things but in a way that was more helpful than before; but in later lectures, I'm hearing things I didn't know, so this has proved much better than I expected. She has also provided many things I can research and follow up on, and things I'm anxious to try out. I'm only about 3/4 of the way through this course but it keeps getting better and better.
