New York Times best-selling author Debbie Ford offers her most personal, powerful, and practical work to date - a proven process for overcoming insecurity and fear and unlocking the courage that resides within.
Every day we are confronted with hundreds of choices that either make us feel confident and strong or rob us of the things we desire the most. When we lack confidence, we feel unworthy of having what we want, of speaking the truth, of making decisions that improve our lives. When we feel weak, helpless, or powerless, we lack the strength to ward off the thoughts of defeat, negativity, and fear that fill our minds and prevent us from moving forward and living in harmony with our deepest desires.
For decades, Debbie Ford has been helping people break free from the emotional baggage that has held them hostage. In Courage, Debbie Ford provides a life-altering path to discovering confidence and authentic self-expression. By learning to accept all of who we are, including our histories, our flaws, our misgivings, our weaknesses, and our fears, we discover that what keeps us stuck and feeling weak is nothing more than an illusion of the past. By showing us how to be confident, stand in our strength, and feel great about ourselves, a new self emerges with the power to accomplish anything. Introducing seven guiding principles, Ford expertly leads listeners out of the common pitfalls of fear and insecurity and into the strength, power, and freedom of a courage that has been present all along.

I loved this book and how Debbie explains in detail her struggles and how one can create power and certainty. As a coach who coaches others, she is spot on.
I honor you Debbie and all the good you did.
I highly recommend this audio book.
I cannot give this book an actual review, because this book was not written for me. With this "review" I want to warn other men considering this audiobook that the target audience for this book is women.
So if you are a man, like me, you can still attempt to read this. I tried to myself. And while I was able to relate to some of the things being read to me, the references to my inner (and non-existing) woman became very distracting.
so many stories throughout the book were ones that I could relate to my own life and I believe most women can. The exercises were very helpful as well. The narrator has a pleasant voice with a natural pace that made the audible book a pleasure to listen to.
lessons on truly loving yourself. Becoming more than you ever thought possible. Gifts laid out on a platter for you to take. Deeply Inspirational.
Yes, I really enjoyed listening to Debbie Ford's insights on how to overcome fear and find your warrior's courage. This is a great listen with wonderful suggestions and lessons. I could not put this audio down. I have learned so much from it; it was just what I needed to hear. I will listen to it over and over again!
Deanna Hurst's voice is very similar to Debbie Ford's voice! One almost forgets it is not Ford's narrating her own book. A good narration!
I was very sorry to hear that Ford passed away this year but I am thankful that she left such a wonderful legacy in her many books.
